'Better off as friends': Kevin Connolly and Sabina Gadecki split one year after meeting on set of Entourage film

Kevin Connolly and Sabina Gadecki have split after dating for more than a year.

The 42-year-old actor and 33-year-old actress met while filming the 2015 Entourage movie.

'They were better off as friends. They tried to make it more and it just didn't work,' a source told Us Weekly.

Kevin reprised his role of Eric 'E' Murphy from the HBO series for the 2015 film.

Sabina played his love interest Melanie in the box office flop and they continued their romance off-screen.

'We don't comment on our client's personal lives,' Sabina's representative told Us.

Kevin previously dated actress Lydia Hearst, 32, but they split in May 2014.

Lydia and Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick, 44, married on August 20.

Kevin and Sabina were first spotted together in late 2015 and they were later seen on New Year's Day as they were getting cosy in St. Barts.

Sabina has several film projects in the work including The Ninth Passenger, Welcome To Willits and The Bobby Roberts Project.

Kevin in addition to acting has moved behind the camera and is directing The Life And Death of John Gotti.

The film stars John Travolta, 62, as John Gotti Sr. and his wife Kelly Preston, 53, as Victoria Gotti.

The crime biopic is due out in 2017.
