Sasha Farber got down on one knee as he proposed on Tuesday to fellow pro Emma Slater live on air.

And the next day the blonde showed off the sparkler on Instagram.

'I can't believe that's my finger wearing the second most beautiful thing I've ever seen!! The sapphire in this literally changes colour in different lights, I've never seen anything like it, I'm so unbelievably in love with it!' she wrote.

BLING! 'I can't believe that's my finger wearing the second most beautiful thing I've ever seen!! The sapphire in this literally changes colour in different lights, I've never seen anything like it, I'm so unbelievably in love with it!' she wrote

She added: 'I've always been a coloured stone person, and I just can't believe this is my engagement ring (BTW the first most beautiful thing is also featured in this video @sashafarber1 #EshaEngaged #Sapphire #ILoveMyFiance.'

The pair had danced a contemporary routine to Bruno Mars's romantic hit Just The Way You Are in what initially seemed like a routine filler as fans waited for the latest results.

Emma, 27, looked surprised when her boyfriend ended the dance with a passionate kiss - and even more so when host Tom Bergeron came up to praise them on their 'great chemistry.'

'And Sasha, I always thought you had the potential to host,' Tom continued. 'So I'm going to give the show over to you.'

Emma looked confused - and only clicked what might be happening as Sasha, 33, took both her hands and turned her to look straight at him.

'Babe, I've wanted to do this for such a long time,' he told her as the audience screamed in joy. 'I love you so, so much.'

'I love you!' she replied, barely able to hide her shock and excitement.

After fumbling in his pocket he finally pulled out a ring box, getting down on one knee and asking: 'Will you marry me?'

'Yes!' she said shyly as he leapt up and kissed her repeatedly, while the message 'She said YES!' flashed up in giant letters behind them.

As Bruno Mars's song - and the refrain 'cos you're amazing' - played once more, Derek Hough was the first to rush up and congratulate them, with the rest of the contestants and pro dancers soon joining.

Julianne Hough was seen wiping away tears when the camera cut to the judges' table, and co-host Erin Andrews later admitted she was 'bawling' throughout the whole thing.

'Sasha just proposed to Emma and thankfully she said yes!' Tom announced, pointing to the sign behind them and joking: 'Thankfully, because we didn't have a graphic for the the other option.'

He then further joked: 'So to recap, tonight we have a double elimination and one consummation.'

Sasha had further good news as he was sent through to the next round with his pro Terra Jolé, pumping his hand in the air with joy before hugging her.

His new fiancee, however, is already out of the running after her celebrity, former Presidential hopeful Rick Perry, was eliminated.

The night ended with Vanilla Ice and Kenny 'Babyface' Edmonds both sent home in a double elimination.
