Having a photographer at your dream wedding means they can capture every romantic moment of your big day.

But those sweet snapshots can sometimes capture those moments that you wish hadn't been seen, for instance unwanted extras lurking in the background - like a pair of amorous dogs or even a leaping half-naked man in bright red Speedos.

Or, in the case of New Jersey-born Sue Allegretta, they can record the exact moment a bride falls off a unicorn and tumbles face-first into a river - leaving her gown, hairdo and bouquet soaked.

Sue looked very unhappy as she emerged from the water after her fall, with her gown, hairdo and bridal bouquet soaked

Her friend Mackenzie Vulgaris, 18, who witnessed the incident, said: 'Sue's horse loves the water and was playing in it.

'Next thing you know she's rolled off the horse and landed in the water! It was hysterical - I will never forget it.' 

But Sue was far from the only bride whose photos of their big day were marred by the unexpected. Here FEMAIL takes a look at the hilarious, and sometimes mortifying, moments caught on the wedding photographer's camera.
