The Brit says he finds it 'tragic' how scores of buildings are left to crumble and rot, but he understands how the money needed to save them from peril is often too much.

In a bid to get the desired shots, Yeung admits that he often puts himself in dangerous situations as he ventures into structures on the verge of collapse.
But he says the element of danger is something he thrives off.
Explaining the buzz he gets from 'urban exploring' he told RT.com: 'The inherent risk is one of the factors which makes exploring such an amazing experience.
'I did fall whilst trying to climb into a building recently and injured my ankle. Worst of all, I didn’t manage to get in.'

Yeung uses the handle @irnmonkey on Instagram and so far he has more than 3,000 followers.
In the majority of his shots he does not reveal the exact location, leaving fans to guess.
In one particularly chilling shot, Yeung captures an abandoned morgue.
The porcelain autopsy table stands empty with sheets of paint gradually peeling from the ceiling.
While many fans applauded the images deeming it 'nice' and 'awesome', one was less enthralled by the subject matter, writing: 'Freaky and scary.'
While some of the buildings were abandoned because of fire, others - especially industrial buildings - were left empty due to disuse.
