And Wednesday was no different as Kristen Stewart rocked a flattering patterned suit as she arrived at a New York Film Festival event in her honour.

The 26-year-old star looked perfectly poised as she walked the red carpet at An Evening with Kristen Stewart at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center.

Kristen's bleach blonde locks were swept over to one side in a wet-look style and she showed off a dramatic smokey eye but kept her lips bare.

She teamed the suit with a simple white tank and black patent heels for a sophisticated look.

Meanwhile, Kristen appears to be growing close to Cara Delevingne's musician ex-girlfriend St. Vincent.

After attending the premiere of her new movie Certain Women together on Monday, the duo were then spotted strolling around Manhattan together the following day.

They were first spotted out together on August 30 when they went for dinner at Largo restaurant in West Hollywood before catching a performance by The Improvised Shakespeare Company.

Kristen hasn’t been seen with her on-off girlfriend, visual effects producer Alicia Cargile since before then.

Meanwhile St. Vincent, born Anne Erin 'Annie' Clark, split with British model Cara, 24, in August.

In a new interview with W magazine Kristen - who appears nude in her new indie flick Personal Shopper - opens up about how comfortable she is with sex scenes.

'I wasn’t apprehensive,' she explained. 'I feel super great with director Olivier [Assayas], as well. The scenes in which I don’t have clothes on or the scenes that seem 'risqué' from an outsider's perspective, there was no acknowledgment on his part.'

The actress said her director’s nonchalant attitude was cultural: 'They're very f****** French.'

But said that Americans, on the other hand, 'are weirder about s*** like that.'
