And Sting was certainly in fantastic shape as he graced the red carpet at the German Radio Prize awards ceremony in Hamburg, Germany on Thursday night.
The musician, 65, was displaying his buff body in a sheer T-shirt, which offered a glimpse of his defined pectorals.

Sting kept the rest of his look simple, sporting black jeans and comfy lace-up boots.

The singer, who is happily married to wife Trudie Styler, was on fine form as he made his way into the ceremony.
His new album, 57th and 9th, is set for release on November 11 and marks the most rock-driven work in years by the former Police frontman.

'The most important aspect of music, in my opinion, is surprise', he said.
On the new album's song 50,000, Sting sings to a rock guitar about past glories and staring himself down in the bathroom mirror.
Sting said that, with more than half of his life clearly behind him, it was time to reflect on death.
'That's not to be morbid. I think to accept one's mortality is actually enriching because every day counts, every experience counts', he explained.
