She had a small family cerebration on her special day but this was a time for the adults to get some partying in.

Ashlee Simpson left the kids with a sitter and pained the town red with husband Evan Ross.

It was still a family affair as the star marked her 32nd birthday in Hollywood on Wednesday night.

The actress threw a joint birthday bash with Evan's brother Ross Naess, who turns 29 on Thursday.

Ashlee and her brother-in law partied up a storm at Warwick nightclub with their famous friends and relatives. 

While Ashlee's famous sister Jessica did not attend, also hitting up the hot spot was Evan and Ross' big sister Tracee Ellis Ross.

For her big night, Ashlee dressed in her go-to eccentric style looking more like she was heading to a Stevie Nicks concert than a club.

Making the look pop, she added a pair of leopard print lace-up heels.

This is the second party Ashlee has had with the first being on Monday with her immediate family, namely her children Bronx, 7 - whom she shares with first husband Pete Wentz - and 15-month-old Jagger.

Posting a picture of the celebration on Instagram, Evan wrote: 'Happy Birthday to the Most incredible Lady. I love you with all my heart baby. I'm so lucky to have you!! Your My everything!! [sic]'
