Eric Leonardos reveals HIV-positive status to Robert Sepulveda Jr on Logo's Finding Prince Charming

Robert Sepúlveda Jr embraced one of his suitors on Wednesday's episode of Finding Prince Charming after he confessed to being HIV-positive.

The all-gay dating show featured the six remaining contestants hosting a masquerade party where they were asked to reveal a secret.

Eric Leonardos, a 35-year-old celebrity hairstylist based in Los Angeles, was last to remove his mask, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes before making his confession.

'Ten years ago I found out that I was HIV-positive,' he finally revealed, having earlier confided on camera that he feared the revelation 'could change everything.'

'Hey, there's nothing you could say that would scare me away from you,' insisted Robert, clearly moved, as he stepped forward, put his hand through Eric's hair and kissed him.

As the other men struggled to fight back tears, Eric continued: 'I've learned to love who I am today. I share this with you because I have to. It's a part of me.

'It's a small part of me - it's only a part of me - there's much more to me than that.'

As Robert hugged and kissed him again, the other men gathered around to hug him too, with only his best friend in the house, Justin, having been alerted to what he would be sharing.

The show's pop star host, Lance Bass, later called it 'very beautiful and brave,' while Robert told Lance he found it 'a very profound thing to do.'

The other contestants confessed to being moved, too, with fun-loving Robby - who would end the episode as the latest sent home - saying: 'As a gay man, it hits home for me that this is a very, very real disease in our community.

'I can't but become overwhelmed with love for Eric.'

Robert had to end the masquerade party by picking one of the men to have a one-on-one dinner date with, and did not hesitate to pick Eric.

In the car to their date, Robert then shared that his uncle had died of AIDS in the 1990s, tearing up later as he spoke about supporting him during that time.

Eric quickly came on strong - calling Robert 'one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen' - with the pair kissing in the car home.

'We finally kissed, and I gotta tell ya - it's a good one,' Robert smiled later.

But Eric struggled with jealousy the next day during a BBQ party around the pool when he saw Robert still getting alone time with the other guys, with Robby telling him: 'It's a cruel game we signed up for, isn't it?'

'I get the fact that Eric just wants to run away with me - and maybe I do too - but I do still have five other guys that I need to get to know, and he needs to understand that,' Robert said.

The handsome interor designer later also kissed Chad, 32, and most passionately with Brandon, 29, having told him he was 'open to you grabbing me or whatever - bring it on!'

'Brandon is a very good kisser. He knows how to kiss,' Robert said, smiling with obvious delight at the memory. 'A good kisser.'

He had earlier also said of him: 'Every time I see Brandon our bond is growing stronger and stronger. He's not only beautiful on the outside but he's beautiful on the inside.

'It's sexy - he's sexy,' Robert added.

Robby, easily the show's most colorful character, was warned in the previous episode that he needed to show a serious side, and initially tried to do that at the masquerade party.

But he admitted: 'I feel like I'm betraying myself. I work so hard to be happy and fun and love life, and now I find myself trying not to laugh or crack a joke so Robert can see a more serious side of me? It doesn't feel good. It doesn't resonate with me.'

He went out with his now-familiar giant smile when he was sent home, insisting on a group hug with the other guys after telling them: 'Sisters, I love each and every one of you so, so much.'

Robert had called him a 'beautiful man' who is 'funny and sweet and giving,' but admitted: 'I think between us I see you as a friend - and I hope that we can stay friends.'

'Robert, thank you so much darling,' Robby told him as they hugged, saying afterward: 'I'll gracefully bow out, and want to wish Robert nothing but the utmost joy and love with whoever he finds.'

With a smile, he added: 'Lets face it, there's no denying I'm a catch, and Lord knows Robert's a catch as well. We tried our best to make it work, but alas we are not made for each other.'

'Without Robby here, it will definitely feel kinda like the party's over,' Brandon admitted later. 'It's very clear that things are getting a lot more serious now.'
