Naomi Campbell clutches a rose after reuniting with friend and 'former flame' Usher over an al fresco dinner in Paris

Naomi Campbell was reunited with 'former flame' and close friend Usher on Monday evening as Paris Fashion Week slowly drew to a close.

The British supermodel, 46, favoured an al fresco dinner with the R&B superstar in the French capital over one the city's stylish parties.

Casually smoking a cigarette, Naomi appeared to be engrossed in conversation with her reported ex as they sat opposite one another at an outdoor table.

The model had already been warmly greeted by a male acquaintance shortly after the two friends arrived, receiving a welcome kiss on the cheek before they were guided to their seats.

Company aside Naomi was already an eye-catching sight courtesy of her heavily tiered black trouser suit, beneath which her black bra was evident courtesy of its plunging detail.

The catwalk veteran completed her striking look with a pair of embellished peep-toe heels, while a single fingerless glove covered her left hand.

As she exited the restaurant later in the evening that same hand clutched two roses, and she appeared to be in high spirits as she made her way home.

Both Naomi and Usher were understood to be in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week, which drew to a close on Wednesday evening.

The pair reportedly enjoyed a brief romance in 2004 before ‘splitting’ amid separate claims that Usher was ‘bored’ and Naomi found his entourage ‘too controlling.’

Despite the reports Usher later denied ever dating the supermodel, telling CONTACTMUSIC.COM the following year: ‘We were never a couple. We never dated. She just accompanied me to an event and is a great friend of mine who I think is a great person.’ 

Following dinner with Naomi on Monday evening the U Remind Me hit-maker was in higher spirits while celebrating his 38th birthday in Paris on Tuesday. 

He was joined by an array of friends and acquaintances while partying into the early hours at the city's Heritage Paris nightclub.

The singer will officially turn 38 on October 14.
