And Lily Collins exuded old Hollywood glamour as she attended the photocall for her new movie, Rules Don't Apply, in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The actress, 27, looked effortlessly elegant as she slipped into a pretty pale pink midi-dress with a frilled high neck and long sleeves.

Working the fashion-forward number, the Love, Rosie star looked sublime in the whimsical number, which cinched her around the waist with an eye-catching black band featuring chain detail.  

Lily - the daughter of British musician Phil Collins, 65 - added height to her petite frame with black pointed stilettos, which contrasted with the detailing on her pretty dress. 

Styling her brunette locks into a side parting, the beauty worked her tresses into a chic chignon which accentuated her facial features to perfection.

Keeping to a classic beauty look, Lily dusted her cheeks with a rose blush as she worked a vintage feline flick.

Lily plays aspiring star Marla Mabrey in 1950s Hollywood in Rules Don't Apply, written and directed by Warren Beatty. 

In the flick, The Love, Rosie actress's career chasing character finds herself caught in a love triangle between chauffeur Frank Forbes - played by Alden Ehrenreich - and obsessive-compulsive billionaire Hughes - played by Warren Beatty.

The star-studded cast includes Warren's wife Annette Bening, Alec Baldwin, Haley Bennett, Martin Sheen, Steve Coogan, Ed Harris, Candice Bergen and Oliver Platt.

The flick marks Beatty's first directorial in 18 years, while he hasn't appeared in a feature film since 2001's Town and Country.

Rules Don't Apply will open in theatres on November 23.
