Manchester United and Liverpool target Karim Benzema tracked by Serie A giants Juventus

Karim Benzema is being tracked by a third club after Juventus joined Manchester United and Liverpool in the chase for the France international.

The Real Madrid forward, 22, has struggled to make an impact at the Bernabeu and was over-looked for Raymond Domenech’s World Cup squad, too.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to rejoin the hunt after an approach last summer was rejected and Roy Hodgson is desperate to bring in an attacker to take some of the strain off struggling Fernando Torres.

But the Serie A giants have made the Frenchman one of their top priorities for the January transfer window and could cost as little as £12m according to reports in Spain today.
