Martin Kaymer set to stretch lead in Euro money list at Holland's KLM Open

Germany’s Martin Kaymer will more than double his 200,000euro lead at the top of Europe’s money list if he wins the KLM Open in Holland.

The world No 6 will take a one-shot lead into the final round after shooting a 66 to reach 10-under par, ahead of Paraguayan Fabruzio Zanotti and Sweden’s Christian Nillson.

Kaymer may not even have to play a shot to pick up the 300,000euro first prize as it is feared a predicted thunderstorm will flood the Hilversumche course and reduce the tournament to 54 holes.

England’s Trish Johnson had seven birdies and an eagle in a third-round 63 for a 16-under-par total and four shot-lead over Germany’s Caroline Masson going into today’s final 18 holes of the Ladies’ French Open in Paris.

Laura Davies’s level-par 72 left her in a four-way tie for third on nine under.
