It emerged earlier this week that Lydia Bright had suffered a 'weak moment' in Marbella and fallen back into bed with her ex-boyfriend, James 'Arg' Argent.

And the 26-year-old was shrugging off the drama, putting her best foot forward as she ventured out in London on Friday ahead of TOWIE's grand return later this weekend.

The reality star looked lovely as ever in a ladylike lace dress, featuring an off-the-shoulders neckline and a floaty bodice.

The neutral number was set off with a pair of nude pumps, and she carried a cream cardigan over one arm.

Sporting a deep tan from the ITVBe cast's recent sojourn in Marbella, Lydia showed no sign of inner turmoil following her tryst with Arg.

On Sunday night's launch episode for the brand new series, viewers will see Arg feeling guilty having sent Lydia a venomous email which he shares with a shocked Diags and Dan Edgar.

Later that night, he ends up back in bed with Lydia. While Arg remains hopeful of a reunion, Lydia is filled with instant regret.

The pair will come face-to-face again at Megan McKenna's birthday party, where their relationship status will be cleared up once and for all.    

Earlier this week, Danielle Armstrong confirmed Lydia's hook up during an appearance on Celebrity Juice, saying: 'When we were in Marbella, they slept together again'.

And explaining to Keith Lemon that the duo are not back together she added: 'No, apparently it was a mistake on Lydia’s behalf.'

Shocked, Holly Willoughby responded with: 'That’s a bit naughty though, he really loves her.'

Agreeing, Danielle added: 'He really loves her and it’s really sad, I love Arg. It’s really hard when you’re altogether on holiday, there’s drink involved, your exes are there… 

'I think he might have been talking to someone else and there was a little bit of… I don’t know. Anyway, they ended up sleeping together.' 

The reality star duo, who have played out much of their romance on-screen since TOWIE began in 2010, split in April after seven years of on-and-off dating. 

Reports initially surfaced earlier in the week, alleging that the former lovebirds hooked up during TOWIE filming last Sunday. 

A source told The Sun: 'Lydia can’t believe she fell for Arg’s charms once again.

Lydia and Arg's turbulent romance came crashing down once and for all this Spring, and shortly afterwards Lydia told her ex she 'despised' him during a heated beach argument.

Lydia said their 'difficult' relationship has made her a stronger person, adding that she does not see herself getting back with James in the future.

She said: 'For me there is no going back, we have been through a lot over the years. but I reached my limit the evening we broke up.'

Lydia ended things with her long-term boyfriend in May after he allegedly relapsed into his cocaine habit.

Arg's party lifestyle had been a bone of contention over the years, with most of their rows revolving around him keeping secrets from her and slipping back into his bad ways.
