She thrilled fans with a surprise appearance at a bar in Nashville on Wednesday night.

And pop star Lady Gaga was too inspired to sleep after her performance at The 5 Spot, judging by an Instagram post showing her working late into the night after the intimate gig. 

The Applause singer gave her followers a look into her impromptu rehearsal session, wearing nothing but a sheet as she strummed her guitar in bed.

In the casual snap, the 30-year-old music icon wraps up in a crisp white sheet as she sits in bed with her guitar at hand.

An old-fashioned typewriter, the remnants of room service and some papers were strewn around her, while her beloved dog Koji waited patiently for bedtime nearby.

'Off to have some fun in Nashville. I love it here. We had a really great time last night,' said Gaga, dressed in her version of traditional country attire - a large pink hat and bright yellow suit.

Later, the songstress showed her concern for what appeared to be an accident. She happened to be driving by the scene and made sure to ask if everyone was okay, before moving on.

The Perfect Illusion pop star is prepping for the release of her upcoming album, Joanne. The album title is named after her late aunt, and is also Gaga's middle name - Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.

In keeping with her more rocker sound for the new album, Gaga has chosen three different dive bar locations to tour her new music.

Her first performance took place in Nashville on Wednesday, while her next sets will be on October 20 and 27, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Gaga also released the artwork for her new single Million Reasons.

In the photo, the singer lies across the grass topless and in a pair of denim shorts.
