Karlie Kloss swaps her angel wings for skinny jeans and a polo neck top as she leads the dressed down Victoria's Secret models out of their London hotel

On Tuesday night she pranced down the Victoria's Secret runway in a series of barely there ensembles but Karlie Kloss was all covered up in London on Wednesday. 

The 22-year-old model swapped her Angel wings for a pair of skinny jeans and a turtleneck sweater as she led her fellow Victoria's Secret models out of their hotel. 

Karlie's blonde hair was loose around her shoulders and the beauty appeared to be make-up free as she enjoyed a low-key day after the high-profile night before.

She carried a backpack on her shoulders and a grey coat in her arms as she strolled around in white trainers. 

Kloss still managed to look fresh faced, despite her busy few days, culminating in the catwalk extravaganza on Tuesday night.

Karlie became best friends with Taylor Swift after hanging out together at the show in New York last year and the duo hit the catwalk in matching black lingerie for the annual event in London on Tuesday night.

Taylor, 24, returned as a performer for the second year in a row and she and her BFF looked delighted as they confidently strutted down the runway together in matching black lace.

Taylor has a wide circle of celebrity friends, and added Karlie to the bunch after they became close while doing the show together last year.

Effortless beauty: French model Constance Jablonski was casual in a similar outfit to Karlie but she added a green parka 

'I look for people who really have their own passion in life,' the 24-year-old said during an appearance on The View earlier this year.

'My friends, they all are chasing their own dreams, and they all have their own ambitions.'

The pop singer, who counts stars like Lena Dunham and Taylor Swift among her close friends, said she looks for people 'who really have their own passion in life.'

'You're supposed to surround yourself with people who challenge you and motivate you and make you want to be smarter, stronger, better,' she said. 'So that's what my friends do for me and I'm so happy to have so many good ones right now.'

And they have become even closer since Taylor moved to New York, where Karlie lives, earlier this year. She bought two adjoining apartments in the Big Apple's trendy Tribeca neighbourhood.

'I think she's the coolest young girl,' Karlie told Us Weekly. 'She's a great role model, and I love her music. It's happening. I mean, girl power.' 

But Taylor wasn't with Karlie as she led the models out of their hotel on Wednesday. 

Other Victoria's Secret beauties present included Constance Jablonski and Maria Borges. 

CBS will air the show in the US on December 9 at 10pm.
