Happy days for Kim! Kardashian tweets pouty snapshot of herself with Henry 'The Fonz' Winkler

Happy Days may have ended more than three decades ago, but Kim Kardashian was certainly pleased to catch up with one of its main stars on Friday night.

The 34-year-old posted a pouty Instagram snapshot of herself on Saturday with Henry Winkler who played Arthur 'The Fonz' Fonzarelli on the throwback TV comedy.

Kim is good friends with Winkler's daughter Zoe - who went to high school with both the reality star and her older sister Kourtney.

'If I can't see you @bunnyzwyr this guy will do!!! #DinnerWithTheFonz @hwinkler4real,' she wrote on her Insatgram page with the snap.

Kim looked suitably glamorous in a plunging black satin wrap dress, crimson lipstick, and a chic side-parted updo.

Winkler is a long term family friend of the reality stars, and warmly sung their praises in an interview he gave earlier this year.

'My daughter, before they were THE Kardashians and they were just the Kardashians, two lovely girls (Kourtney and Kim) went to school with Zoe and they were good friends and continue to be so today,' he explained.

Describing the sisters as 'charming, warm, respectful, lovely people,' he added:  'A lot of people knew them before and I’m sure every one of them had the same impression. They are very, very nice girls.'

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Kim responded to the praise given to her by the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge.

In an interview with E! News, the reality TV star was asked what she thought about Pippa's recent comments regarding her famous backside, and also America's obsession with bottoms in general.

The 34-year-old replied: 'She has an amazing booty. She's beautiful, so that's cool'.

Kim attempted to 'break the internet' last month when she posed nude on the front cover of Paper magazine, her famous derriere oiled up and on full show.

Pippa addressed the image in an article she penned for political weekly The Spectator.

'The 'Rear of 2014' award undoubtedly goes to Kim Kardashian, after her posterior exploded all over the internet last month,' she wrote, no doubt referencing her own backside, which was considered to be the rear of 2011 when she wore a tight-fitting bridesmaid's dress to the wedding of her sister Kate to Prince William..

'I must say that mine — though it has enjoyed fleeting fame — is not comparable.

'But the Kim butt story did make me pause. What is it with this American booty culture? It seems to me to be a form of obsession.'

Pippa added: ‘Kim’s aim, apparently, was to break the internet, but I’m not sure she’s going the right way about it.’
