The story of how Napoleon Perdis became a international brand begins in Sydney's Oxford Street where the first store opened in 1995.

Editorial work led to Australian Fashion Week and ten years later, Napoleon Perdis broke in to the US market.

Today the brand has more than 85 concept stores, 100 department store counters and more than 750 independent stockists, and Lianna has grown to share her father's passion.

'I think even if I didn’t grow up surrounded by makeup and beauty I would still be obsessed with it,' she said.

'I love make up and how you can transform your look based on your mood, where you’re going or how you want to be perceived.

'Make up to me is all about still being you, just enhanced.'

LIANNA PERDIS: HOW TO CLEANSE

'I begin with the Auto Pilot Lift Off Wipes to remove any initial make up and then soak a cotton pad with the Auto Pilot Duet Makeup Remover to remove my eye and lip makeup.

'Once I’ve removed all of my eye and lip makeup I cleanse with the Rebirth of Venus Skin Renewal Cleansing Oil.

'A tip Dad taught me when removing my eye make up is to using a patting motion instead of rubbing. It’s gentler on the eye area where the skin is much softer and delicate.'

Lianna shares her love of beauty through YouTube vlogs.

One video saw her share her cleansing routine, something she is 'obsessed' with.

But rather than opt for a heavily made up look, Lianna said her make up routine was 'quite understated, minimal and fresh'.

'I love to keep my daytime make up simple, and then for special occasions, I love rocking a winged liner, a smokey eye and lots of layers of mascara,' she said.

'Lately, I love to add a metallic shimmer to the inner corner of my eyes.'

She said the best trick her father taught her was to do eyebrows and mascara first.

'By doing your brows and mascara first it maps out your face for the rest of your make up,' she said.

'It also helps with not going too OTT as once your brows and mascara are done you’ll find you probably won’t need as much make up as you originally thought.'

While she is happy to continue working as part of the Napoleon Perdis empire, Lianna said she has the 'love and support' she needs to achieve any future goals she might have.

'And that's pretty special,' she said.
