Paloma, who is expecting her first child with her partner Leyman Lahcine, has always been known for her quirky appearance as illustrated during her low-key amble in the capital.

Her silken dress was adorned with an intricate kimono-style pattern while the garment skimmed her knees in length and covered her arms with long sleeves.

She contrasted the Asian styling of the dress with the preppy varsity jacket, which boasted red and cream adornments with a crimson body and nude sleeves.

Ensuring the look was totally colour coordinated she wore bright red ankle boots with black socks underneath which brought together the many colours in the ensemble.

Although she kept her accessories to a minimum, what she did add was super quirky and retro, with a neckerchief fastened around her neck in a jaunty knot.

She scraped her strawberry blonde locks into a high bun while showing off the fabled new mother glow from her make-up free face.

Paloma is delightedly awaiting the arrival of her first born. Last month she revealed the big news in a post on her website, telling fans she's taking some time out as she prepares to be a mum.

In a lengthy post, Paloma wrote: 'I have spent my whole life wanting to be a mother and now the time has come for me to do so I feel so lucky.'

She started her statement by chatting about progress on her new album before dropping her major news.

The post read: 'So the good news is my 4th album is well underway and I am very excited about it. It's actually nearly finished as I type!

'I have been working with the amazing Jesse Shatkin on it as producer and it has been a real honour. It is called "the architect" and is very aptly named as it leads me on to my next announcement.'

'I am so delighted to tell you I am going to take a short while off to have a baby. I have spent my whole life wanting to be a mother and now the time has come for me to do so I feel so lucky.'
