Wanted... Jack Sparrow! Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 director thanks fans for watching trailer as they beg to see Johnny Depp in next one
The director of Pirates Of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales posted a Jack Sparrow 'Wanted' poster on his Instagram Friday thanking fans for watching the teaser trailer released this week.
But judging from the comments Joachim Ronning garnered, what fans really want is a glimpse of Cap'n Jack in the upcoming movie.
'There should be a captain in there somewhere,' one of his Instagram followers responded, expressing disappointment that the highly anticipated teaser didn't show even a glimpse of Johnny Depp's character.

Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 director Joachim Ronning posted the Jack Sparrow 'Wanted' poster to Instagram Friday as he thanked 'millions' of fans for viewing the first look teaser for the film
'We can't wait see Johnny Depp,' another fan wrote.
While another begged: 'We're Still Waiting for the Main Characters in Main Trailer, We're So Excited to know when you're gonna release the Main One featuring the Great one Captain Jack Sparrow!'
The first teaser for Dead Men Tell No Tales dropped on October 2 and immediately generated huge buzz due to the absence of its star, Depp.
The teaser released last Sunday generated plenty of buzz due to the absence of the film's star Johnny Depp. Instead, the clip focused on new villain Captain Salazar played by Javier Bardem

It also showed newcomer Brendan Thwaites who plays Henry.
There's no doubt that Depp's Jack Sparrow is the secret to the phenomenal success of the Disney franchise, so his being MIA has prompted fans and critics to speculate on why he would be left out of the first look at the movie.
In response to his post, fans begged Ronning to release a trailer showing Depp in his famous role. The Hollywood star is seen filming on location in Australia with Ronning last year
It's led to speculation it may have to do with his high-profile divorce from Amber Heard over the summer, in which his now ex-wife accused his of spousal abuse.
The fact his last two films Mortdecai and Alice Through The Looking Glass failed to do well at the box office may also have been a factor.
Meanwhile, Ronning, a Norwegian filmmaker who is co-directing Pirates Of The Carribbean 5 with fellow Norwegian and business partner Espen Sandberg, did promise fans there's 'more to come.'

'I'm so grateful for your enthusiasm and comments. The last couple of days have really reminded me why I love movies - and why I wanted to make this one. #moretocome.'
