They've been on a globe-trotting tour promoting their new drama, American Pastoral.

But Dakota Fanning and Jennifer Connelly saved their best looks for last, pulling out all the stops in the style department when they attended the American Pastoral photocall in London on Friday.

Dakota, 22, made a statement in a bright green bodysuit with a 50s flair and a low-cut neckline as she posed at the Ham Yard Hotel.

Keep things simple in a sleeveless shift like Jennifer

Jennifer Connelly looked uber chic in head to toe Louis Vuitton at the London photocall for American pastoral.

The actress looked chic in a sleeveless shift dress from the Resort 2017 collection and we love the combination of the clean and simple lines with the contrasting, multi-colored frills at the decolletage.

It's a great look for the new season and a classic shift can be styled easily for day or night. So why not recreate Michelle's look with one of the dresses in our edit below? We've found frilly options by the likes of MSGM, Cinq a Sept, Vanessa Bruno and Asos so you'll be spoiled for choice.

Style with a pair of ankle boots for a harder edge or work some black courts for timeless elegance.

We're obsessed with the MSGM!

The 45-year-old Oscar winner looked fashionable as ever, adding a punk rock twist to her look with a pair of lace-up combat boots.

Also joining them at the photocall was Ewan McGregor, looking dapper as ever while posing alongside his leading ladies.

Ewan makes his directorial debut on the crime-drama - which is based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Philip Roth.

The film centers around family man Seymour, who's watches his middle class life fall apart as his daughter's new radical political affiliation threatens to destroy them.

'It’s just been the most extraordinary passage of time and a really fulfilling creative experience, very traumatic at times, just learning the curve of it all,' Ewan told Deadline of his time directing.

'Basically I look at it and say, "Well, this is the film I wanted to make. This is what I had in my head.." And there it is, so I think that’s great.'

The film also stars Rupert Evans and Valorie Curry and premiered on September 9 at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
