Petra Nemcova exudes sophistication as she displays her long legs in white trousers and matching jacket at star-studded fashion bash

She's more focused on her humanitarian projects than modelling these days.

But that didn't stop Petra Nemcova from putting in an appearance at the Moncler & RCA Freeze For Frieze cocktail reception held in central London on Friday night.

The 37-year-old beauty looked incredible in a chic white suit as she partied the night away at the flagship Bond Street boutique.

Having been caught up in the devastating 2004 tsunami in Thailand, Petra founded and now chairs her own charity, The Happy Hearts Fund, an admirable feat for which she was recently rewarded.

Last month, Petra was honoured the Ischia Humanitarian Award at the annual Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in Italy for her outstanding charitable work.

Her fund has been running for a decade, having been launched two years after her fiance, British photographer Simon Atlee, was among the 230,000 people killed in the Thai natural disaster.

The model spent eight hours clinging to a palm tree as the waves wrecked the Thai landscape and when taken to hospital she was told that her injuries were so appalling she would never walk again.

Petra now works with the charity to rebuild safe, resilient schools in areas impacted by natural disasters.
