Not the one she wants! Actress Olivia Newton-John reveals her distaste Grease sequel... but hails TV remake as 'fun'
She soared to fame after scoring a starring role in the 1978 musical Grease.
But while Olivia Newton-John only had fond memories of her time on set, she had less of a positive take on the failed sequel, Grease 2.
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday, the youthful 68-year-old was asked what she thought of the film, which starred Michelle Pfeiffer instead of her.

Awkward moment: Olivia Newton-John hesitated for a moment when asked what she really thought of Grease 2 on Watch What Happens Live, before answering: 'Not a lot'
After a moment of hesitation, the actress replied: 'Not a lot.
'They did ask us, I think they approached John and I to do it and then it didn't happen, and I didn't think it was gonna happen, and then they made it with other people,' she recalled.
As for making the original Grease, she said it was 'like going back to a school that I never went to,' especially because her own school in Australia was single sex with uniforms.
The original and the best: Olivia Newton John joined John Travolta in the original version of Grease, and the pair shot to stardom
Sandy 1 and Sandy 2: Unlike the sequel, which the 68-year-old has a great distaste for, Olivia referred to her character in two stages as the movie went on
'We were all in our late 20s and 30s, but we felt like we were teenagers, so I think the whole thing was a lot of fun from beginning to end. We had a great energy,' she smiled.
During its opening weekend in the USA, Grease pulled in more than $12million in box office sales.
In comparison, Grease 2, which was created with double the budget, only earned $4,645,411 on opening weekend.
Flop: Grease 2 was made with double the budget of its big-name predecessor, but only earned a quarter of the sales on opening weekend
The flop sequel wasn't the only adaptation of the smash hit musical.
When asked about Fox's televised live reproduction, where Julianne Hough took on Olivia's iconic role, the blonde beauty was complimentary.
The mother-of-one gave Julianne her blessing before the performance aired, and when asked for a final opinion, she said: 'I liked it. Yeah, it was fun.'
Not her best work: Michelle Pfeiffer did not hit success with her take on Sandy, but luckily her role in Scarface the next year helped maintain her track to fame
