Nancy O'Dell is the married woman mentioned by Donald Trump on tape

Entertainment Tonight co-host Nancy O'Dell has been revealed as the woman at the center of a crude recording detailing how Donald Trump tried to seduce a married woman in 2005. Shocking audio was released by the Washington Post on Friday, which contained Trump bragging to Billy Bush (middle in 2005) about his attempts to seduce a woman in September 2005. 'I moved on her and I failed. I'll admit it. I did try and f*** her. She was married... I moved on her like a b***h, but I couldn't get there. And she was married,' Trump (right, with O'Dell) said while he was on an Access Hollywood set with Billy Bush. Access Hollywood now says Trump was talking about Entertainment Tonight co-host Nancy O'Dell (left with her husband, Keith Zubulevich). Trump, who has consistently come under fire for derogatory comments about women during his campaign, did not deny the exchange had taken place and put it down to 'locker room banter'. Trump apologized for the words he said in 2005 in a video statement shortly after midnight on Saturday. 'I've never said I'm a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone I'm not. I've said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them,' the Republican nominee said in the statement.

Trump apologizes for sexist video released with Billy Bush

Donald Trump has apologized for the words he said in 2005 that were released on Friday, where he bragged about trying to seduce Nancy O'Dell (bottom) and bragged about being able to do 'anything' to women. The short video statement (top) was released by Trump just after midnight on Saturday. 'I've never said I'm a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone I'm not. I've said and done things I regret, and the words released today on this more than a decade-old video are one of them,' the Republican nominee said in the statement. Trump then called the controversy a 'distraction', before pivoting into an attack on Hillary and Bill Clinton. The Washington Post released footage of Trump in 2005 speaking with Billy Bush (inset). The Republican nominee was heard bragging about how his celebrity status allows him to do 'anything' to women. 'And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p---y. You can do anything.' The comments were made on an Access Hollywood set in 2005.

Here come the floods: Terrifying videos show waves crashing into teen's patio doors while winds rip a tree out from the ground in a backyard as Matthew wreaks havoc in Florida

Security cameras captured the moment the high tide hit Grant Lynch's Palm Coast beach home on Friday (bottom right). The 50 sandbags placed outside the house did nothing to stop the waves in Matthew's wake.At one point they crashed so hard into the patio that they reached the top of the glass door. Another video, taken in Jacksonville, captured a tree being uprooted by the vacuum-like winds (left).

As Hurricane Matthew trounces Florida, committed journalists have done their duty by reporting from the heart of the storm. Several reporters were doused by the storm.

Hurricane Matthew closes in on Georgia with 7ft waves and 100mph winds after killing six

Hurricane Matthew began to wreak havoc on Georgia and South Carolina on Friday night as torrential rain thrashed Savannah (left) and winds felled trees in St Simons Island (right). The storm, which left entire towns in Florida under water, is due to cause most damage to Georgia overnight, with 15ft waves expected at high tide. Six people have died in the US since it arrived on the south east coast of Florida. More than 800 people in Haiti, where it struck first, have been killed.

The death toll in the Caribbean has spike to nearly 600 people and 842 of those deaths have been in Haiti alone. That number is expected to climb once communication is reestablished.

Trump recorded in lewd hot mic chat with Billy Bush in 2005

A new video captures newlywed Donald Trump bragging about his attempts to seduce a married woman and boasting about how being a 'star' means he can get away with 'anything' when trying to bed a woman. The recording, obtained by the Washington Post, was made on an Access Hollywood set in 2005 and captures Trump (bottom right), newly married to Melania, discussing women with host Billy Bush (top right). The shocking outburst captures Trump detailing his pursuit of an unidentified married woman. 'I moved on her and I failed. I'll admit it. I did try and f--- her. She was married', he says on the recording made off-set as the pair waited on a bus. Trump and Bush also commented on the appearance of Arianne Zucker (all three, left) in the audio. The comments have quickly been condemned, with Hillary Clinton tweeting: 'This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president.' Meghan McCain, the daughter of former Republican candidate John McCain, also commented on the recording, saying: 'This godforsaken election. This vile excuse for a nominee. I cannot find the humor in any of this.' Billy Bush is the nephew of former president George H.W. Bush, and first cousins with George W. and Jeb Bush.

Thousands on social media are calling for Billy Bush to be fired from NBC after he was captured in a controversial 2005 video with Donald Trump who was bragging about women.

One of his followers responded saying he couldn't 'follow' him anymore. 'The arrogant, sexist, dehumanizing sense of entitlement and power is common to both,' Bergeron shot back.

For years, rumors surrounded Nancy O'Dell's abrupt decision to leave Access Hollywood and some blamed her departure on co-host Billy Bush, who a source said threw 'tantrums' on set.

Wikileaks release transcripts of Hillary Clinton's closed-doors Wall Street speeches

Wikileaks on Friday published emails from campaign chairman John Podesta. One of them, sent by campaign research director Tony Carrk in January this year, points out 'flags' in Hillary Clinton's paid speeches. In his email , Clarrk warns his team that they should 'give an extra scrub' to a lot of the policy positions expressed in Clinton's speech. Clinton's campaign wouldn't confirm whether the emails published by Wikileaks (whose editor Julian Assange is pictured left) were authentic. But spokesman Glen Caplin said administration officials have 'removed any reasonable doubt that the Kremlin has weaponized Wikileaks to meddle in our election and benefit Donald Trump's candidacy'.

US officially accuses Russia of hacking attempts on political groups

Hillary Clinton's campaign attacked Donald's Trump's friendliness towards Russia on Friday after the US government formally accused the country of recent cyber attacks related to the election. The Department of Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence announced in a joint statement that they were confident Russia's 'senior-most officials' ordered the attacks and seemingly accused Vladimir Putin (left) of interference in the American political system. It is impossible for such an explosive charge to have been made without authorization from President Obama. On Friday evening, the Clinton (right) camp tweeted: 'It should concern every American that Russia is willing to engage in such hostile acts in order to help Donald Trump (center) become president.' In addition, a statement from John Podesta, Clinton's campaign chair, questioned why Trump 'continues to make apologies for the Russians.'

The Clooneys add a posh new pad in Manhattan to their £140m property portfolio

The glass-clad tower, set on one of New York's richest streets, is as imposing as it is exclusive. And it's here that George and Amal Clooney have just bought the latest addition to their burgeoning property empire, a four-bedroom, high-rise home worth an estimated eyewatering $40 million. Although for Clooney, whose recent films include the appositely entitled Money Monster and who commands about $27 million per movie, this is not quite so eyewatering. Despite Amal's grandstanding as a champion of the downtrodden in her work as a human rights lawyer, it's the latest evidence that she's also rather fond of the finer things in life. The Clooneys' latest acquisition, which will not be completed until next spring, takes their property portfolio to four, at an estimated worth of £175m. Not too shabby for a couple famed for their social conscience.

The video, which was shot at the Václav Havel Airport in Prague, Czech Republic, shows the airplane swaying back and forth and dipping to the right (top right) as it was attempting its first landing. The pilot was forced to pull up (bottom right) quickly because of the large gusts of wind that caused it to sway violently back and forth. The pilot then reascended and flew the plane back into the holding pattern in preparation for the second landing. During the second attempt to land, the plane once again swayed back and forth on its way down, but this time the pilot was able to make a safe landing.
