Just like in the infamous incident, shaven-headed Bassett then jumped out of the vehicle and swung her umbrella at the men pursuing her, and their vehicles.
Back in 2007, Britney hit the headlines when she attacked some persistent members of the paparazzi.
Britney was suffering from mental health issues at the time, and could not cope with the constant attention.

The incident was caught on camera, showing Britney losing control as she lashed out with her umbrella.
However it was clear on Thursday that a few changes had been made for dramatic reasons. The silver sedan of the original incident had been replaced with a convertible, while the action had moved from a gas station to the street.
The film is unauthorized - and Britney herself has slammed the two-hour biopic from Lifetime, which will detail her career and troubled personal life.

A rep for the 34-year-old said: 'Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic, nor does it have her blessing.'
The movie, which will be called Britney, also chronicles Britney's relationship with Justin Timberlake, her brief marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander, and divorce from Kevin Federline.
Meanwhile Britney has been keeping busy, and recently appeared on a segment on Australia’s Today Show.
The 34-year-old played a game of celebrity roulette, during which she was asked the identity of her 'first celebrity crush'.
'Brad Pitt,' she answered, then added with a smile: 'He's single now'.
Stand ins: Natalie Bassett, who plays Britney, and a male co-star on set
The real deal: Britney, 34, is seen in Calabasas on Thursday
