Pitch perfect! Anna Kendrick wears sheer lace skirt as she and Justin Timberlake promote new film Trolls

They're both talented singers.   

So Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick clearly knew their stuff as they celebrated the music of their upcoming film Trolls.

The duo delighted the crowd gathered at Macy's Herald Square, New York, as they promoted the latest animated offering from Dreamworks.

Tiny Anna, 31, looked fab in a short black wraparound Elie Saab skirt and black top combo, with matching dainty black heels and a bulky blue crocodile skin purse. 

Justin, 35, meanwhile rocked a casual look in jeans, white trainers and a white buttondown shirt, a short blue jacket, and a flat cap to top it all off.

The film, based on the immensely popular dolls of the same name, is the 33rd from the animation studio.

It tells the story of grumpy survivalist Branch - played by Timberlake - and giddy troll Princess Poppy - played by Kendrick - who must team up to save Troll Town from the monstrous Bergens.

It also stars Zooey Deschanel, Russell Brand, James Corden, Jeffrey Tambor and Gwen Stefani who all voice various members of the tall-haired community.

John Cleese meanwhile plays King Gristle, ruler of the Bergens, while Christopher Mintz-Plasse plays his son, the price.

JT also serves as executive producer of the film's soundtrack, which features his number-one-in-17-countries Can't Fight The Feeling.

Along with the actors cast - including Gwen Sefani - Earth Wind & Fire and Ariana Grande also perform.

Kendrick has had a super busy year - as well as starring in The Hollars, Get A Job, and Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates, she has Trolls and The Accountant, opposite Ben Affleck, still to come in 2016.

On top of that, she just announced on Thursday she is also undertaking a 10-city book tour for her new essay collection Scrappy Little Nobody.
