  • The mother-of-three visited a steel plant, Middletown Tube Works, in Ohio on Thursday, sporting white slacks and a pair of safety glasses
  • Following the tour she attended a round-table discussion with local businesswomen where she discussed her father's campaign
  • On Wednesday comedian Rosie O'Donnell tweeted that she had met with Ivanka at New York's Nobu Fifty Seven
  • Rosie noted how in a 'city of 8 million' the two met, as Ivanka is the daughter of the comedian's foe Donald Trump

Ivanka Trump spent Thursday in Ohio helping to promote her father Donald's presidential campaign - specifically his policies regarding women in the workplace - during a round-table discussion with local businesswomen.

But by Friday morning it was back to business as usual for the 34-year-old, who managed to find some time in her hectic schedule to enjoy a bit of bonding with her youngest child Theodore.

Clearly eager to make sure that her six-month-old stays warm, happy and healthy in the cooler fall weather, Ivanka revealed that she had bundled the baby boy up in a very cozy-looking ensemble, describing the toasty get-up as Theo's very own 'fall fashion'.

In the image, the cute tot can be seen perched happily on a sofa in the family's Park Avenue apartment, wearing a black sweater with a bright orange bicycle logo on the front, a pair of black trousers, matching black shoes - and a very snug-looking black hat, which covers his ears, and ties under his chin.

The sweet snap of Theo quickly racked up tens of thousands of likes, with many people pausing to comment on how adorable he looked all bundled up in his 'fall fashion'.

'So sweet and cute,' one person wrote, while another added: 'He is so cute! Love what he is wearing.'

Friday morning's bonding time no doubt came as a welcome break for Ivanka, who spent much of Thursday focused on helping to promote her father's political campaign.

Ivanka was pictured paying a visit to the Middletown Tube Works, a family business whose owner Angie Phillips invited Ivanka along for the day to tour the plant, and to speak to other local businesswomen about their work, and about her father Donald's candidacy.

Balancing it all: The mother-of-three still finds plenty of time to spend with her family, despite her commitments to her own business, the Trump business and her father's campaign

Despite the industrial setting, Ivanka looked incredibly chic during the outing, for which she opted to wear a pair of wide-legged white trousers, paired with a black vest and cardigan.

She topped off the ensemble with a pair of safety goggles.

After the visit, Ivanka took to Instagram to thank Angie for the invitation and for 'assembling an amazing group of Ohio based female business owners for a round table discussion at Middletown Tube Works.'

However, not everyone was so welcoming, with Jocelyn Bucaro, chair of the Butler County Democratic Party, telling media including the Dayton Daily News prior to the visit that 'hiding behind his daughter’s visit to an Ohio steel company will not change Donald Trump’s record of purchasing Chinese steel while Ohio steel companies went out of business and Ohio workers lost their jobs'.

But while Ivanka has happily been putting in a lot of work to make her father's candidacy look good, she recently received some high praise from one of her dad's greatest foes: Rosie O'Donnell.

It seems the pair got to talking after meeting at a New York restaurant this week.

'Ivanka Trump in a city of 8 million - we meet face 2 face - i thank u 4 listening - mother 2 mother - on this new years week - my best 2 u,' O'Donnell tweeted last night, referencing the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah.

The comedian later tweeted that she had talked with the Republican nominee's daughter at the New York City eatery, Nobu Fifty Seven.

She even took issue with Fox News calling the conversation a 'run in.'

In her poem, titled '8 million to one', Rosie O'Donnell reveals that the encounter with Ivanka Trump on Wednesday was on her first outing since the presidential debate on September 26

New friend? On Thursday, comedian Rosie O'Donnell published a poem about her chance meeting with Ivanka, describing the businesswoman as 'absurdly nice'

'I met her - we spoke - "run in" is ur fox twist,' Rosie said.

And on Thursday evening, Rosie even published a poem about her encounter with Ivanka, entitling the creative writing - which was released on her personal website - '8 million to one'.

In it, she said she was 'stunned' by a woman in the restaurant's looks, telling a friend that she was 'the most beautiful woman' she had ever seen. She says she didn't realize at first that it was Ivanka Trump.

Rosie reveals in the poem that it was her first outing since the September 26 presidential debate because she has been suffering from depression, which 'clings' to her and causes her to stay in bed for days at a time.

'It's hard to walk/to shower/to try/to care,' she wrote.

But upon seeing Ivanka and her husband Jared in the restaurant, Rosie paused to speak with them, noting in the poem that the mother-of-three was 'absurdly kind' and Jared had a 'calming charm', while her own voice was 'shaky' and 'quiet'.

The comedian's feud with Ivanka's father got new life when Trump brought it up during the first presidential debate.

'This is a man who has called women pigs, slobs and dogs,' Trump's rival, Hillary Clinton charged, late in the first debate.

Clinton brought up Trump's nicknames for former Miss Universe Alicia Machado – 'Miss Piggy' and 'Miss Housekeeping' – quickly turning the ex-beauty queen into a household name.
