It's getting hot in here! Handsome David Beckham pretends to BBQ himself as he jokes around with Guy Ritchie on boys' night in

He is currently enjoying a few days to himself while wife Victoria is supporting UNAIDS in Africa.

And it seems David Beckham is certainly making the most of his free time, as he enjoyed a BBQ with best mate Guy Ritchie on Friday night.

The friends certainly went all out for their boys' night in leafy Ashcombe, Surrey, as they built a giant caged wood fire to cook their food - which David, 41, proceeded to stand in, to the laughter of his director pal.

Uploading the funny video to his Instagram page, the former footballer and the Snatch director showcased not only their friendship but their silly senses of humour too in the candid clip.

At first preparing to enter the open fire, the friends joke about which is David's best camera angle, with the LA Galaxy player settling on the 'lengthways' option.

Then, looking every inch the country bumpkin in his wellies, cords, zip up vest and flat cap, David steps into the middle of the elaborate - and boiling hot - campfire.

The hunk laughed and flashed a cheeky thumbs up at the camera from the midst of the flames, where he joined the hanging pineapples and cabbages that were burning in front of his eyes.

Continuing the amusing scene, the 48-year-old film creator probed the athlete on how he was finding being cooked, to which David wittily replied: 'Yeah it's a bit toasty'.

Being unable to stand the heat, the stylish Brit eventually escaped from his smoky abode and headed for Guy - his almost empty glass of red wine in hand.

David clearly had a fun evening under the stars at the bonfire, praising the chef in the comment beside the video: 'Thank you to Mr Francis Mallmann for an unforgettable and never done before BBQ ...

'Also to Mr Ritchie for always being the graceful host... Lovely day in the country ..'

Before warning his viewers at the end: 'Btw don't try this at home it was carefully watched by Francis and his amazing team...'

The clip gathered over 160,000 likes and nearly 1 million views within its first few hours of posting.

David and Guy have been friends for years - often enjoying drinks and workouts in London together, and with the former Manchester United star attending Guy's summer wedding to model Jacqui Ainsley, 34, last year.

In more recent weeks, the pair have publicly challenged each other to the 22-Day Push Up Challenge on Instagram.

The friends are seen embarking on light-hearted competition in the set of videos to see who has benefited from their joint workouts the most - with David teasing his mate by referring to him as a 'film director and supreme athlete'.

David has been enjoying the bonding time with his friends while his wife Victoria, 42, and eldest son Brooklyn, 17, have jetted to Kenya on a humanitarian expedition.

The mother and son duo have taken to their own Instagram pages to document their visits to the New Life Home Trust and Beyond Zero clinics - where they are more about the therapies and treatments available for children with HIV, and supporting poorly youngsters.

Meanwhile the evening likely comes as light relief for the Sherlock Holmes director, who has just finalised a tough and lengthy custody battle over son Rocco with his ex-wife Madonna, 58.

It was decided earlier this month that their son - the only genetic child from their eight-year union - would reside in London with Guy and his second wife Jacqui.

The exes had been involved in a protracted battle since December 2015 as to where Rocco should live, when the teen abandoned his mother's Rebel Hearts world tour to stay with his father.
