He's known as Mr Grey from the Fifty Shades franchise.

But Jamie Dornan was very much on the green when he stepped out in Scotland at the weekend, where he enjoyed a game of golf.

The handsome screen star, 34, cut a dapper figure as he took part in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship golf tournament at Kingsbarns on Friday.

The matinee idol was typically well-dressed in a pair of black chinos and blue fleece, which he matched with a pair of trainers.

Sporting a hipster beard, he smouldered as he entertained onlookers with his impressive putting skills.

Capping the look with a steely determination to win, he was certainly taking the game seriously.

Unsurprisingly, the images caused quite a stir with his followers on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.

In fact, many commented that he was giving off serious vibes as his on-screen character from the film series, which is based on the best-selling novels by E.L. James.

Recently, Jamie revealed how supportive his wife had been of his decision to take on the role of S&M loving Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation.

Not that Jamie was the only famous face there, of course.

Fellow actor Hugh Grant was also in attendance, although didn't quite manage to look as stylish.

The Four Weddings and a Funeral actor, 56, cut a casual figure in a bright blue waterproof jacket and matching trousers.

Together, the men certainly put on a good show and even managed to meet and greet keen fans, who'd turned out.

Jamie could be seen taking time from his schedule to chat with fans and sign autographs for them.

One fan was heard talking to him about his skills as a golfer - and whether he'd ever be tempted to take it up professionally.

The latest sighting of Jamie comes shortly after it was revealed that his father, Professor Jim Dornan, has recently scored a part in a major TV show.

The 68-year-old grandfather appears in this week's installment of The Fall which made a star out of Jamie.

'It was the writer and producer Allan Cubitt’s idea,' Jim told The Belfast Telegraph. 'I met him socially and he asked me to take part in The Fall. He really wanted me to do it for Jamie.'
