The bubbly blonde, who now sits at a healthy 68 kilograms, exercises five times a week, sees a trainer twice a week, eats a balanced diet, enjoys a cheat day on Saturdays and says she is a totally different person. Voluntary euthanasia campaigner Kylie Monaghan (pictured main) has died after a six-year battle with breast cancer. In the lead-up to her death she had openly spoken about not wanting to spend her final days as a 'burden' and her passion to have Australia's euthanasia laws changed.

CCTV captured the thugs stealing $800 and a phone from Alan Toh, 66, in his Sydney convenience store by threatening him with a tree branch before he chased them off with a fruit knife. Both robbers were described as being of Pacific Islander or Maori appearance, about 183cm tall and with a solid build. The grandfather has run the shop for 20 years after he came to Australia from Vietnam in 1990 in search of a better life but has now been robbed four times.

Angela Jones, of Charleston, South Carolina, was shocked to see a person looting her home on security footage after she evacuated her home. Jones had to flee her home on Thursday due to the ferocious storm moving up the east coast. With two young children, the family didn't want to risk not having access to emergency services. Before leaving, Jones set up a security service called Canary in her home, which allows her to see the house's interior on her phone. At 9.15pm on Thursday, Canary notified Jones that someone was inside her house. An unidentified woman could be seen taking small items and then leaving the home on the security video. Police say they are investigating.

A family has been left devastated after a car crash involving a pair of identical twin brothers left one of them dead, while the other walked away. Mark (right) and Dale Lewis (left) were separated forever on Friday night after the ute they were driving ran off Evans Road at Bunyip, in south east Victoria, before rolling down an embankment and into a river (inset). The accident killed father-of-one Mark, who was driving the vehicle, while Dale escaped with just cuts and bruises.

Brittanee Marie Drexel, 17 (inset), traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from Rochester, New York, with some friends without telling her parents, and disappeared without a trace on April 25, 2009. This past summer, the FBI revealed that Drexel had been raped, murdered and left in an alligator pit about an hour from the hotel in McClellanville, where she is believed to have been held in a house for at least three days. On Friday, Dawn and Chad Drexel appeared on Dr. Phil (the couple pictured together in the studio, main), sharing for the first-time information they have received about what happened to their daughter. No charges have ever been filed and the body has never been found.

Sydney woman Amelia Seymour (pictured second right with her fiance Shane Beukes far right) nearly died giving Cyrus Patel and his wife Ameera Mahmood (left and second left) the gift of life. The 26-year-old was a surrogate for the couple, but despite a smooth pregnancy, started to feel unwell days before her due date. She was rushed to hospital with high blood pressure, and in the space of 12 hours, her liver shut down and her kidneys started to malfunction. She was diagnosed with Hellp Syndrome, and underwent an emergency cesarean. Thankfully, little Shireen Amelia (inset) was born happy and healthy. Impressive aerial photos (left and right) shared Saturday showed the shark swimming not far from him off Nauset Beach in Orleans, Massachusetts. The paddleboarder, identified as Terence Roche, hadn't realized the shark was next to him. He had been in the water for 20 or 30 minutes. Roche realized something unusual was happening when he saw a spotter plane circling the area and noticed he was at the center of its trajectory. That prompted him to get out of the water. The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, who published the pictures, issued an alert saying there were at least five great white sharks in the area.

A Gold Coast cafe has created a crazy new burger by jamming a Wagyu beef patty in-between two Krispy Kreme donuts (left). The Drunky Donut burger also features maple gravy and is topped off with melted marshmallows. The same cafe has also created the Pommy B****** Burger (right), which features a full English fry-up breakfast.

More than 200,000 fans flocked to Bathurst for the biggest V8 supercars race of the year, with early birds staking out a prime spot on 'The Hill' and downing an impressive amount of beer despite strict alcohol limits - of one carton of 24 cans of beer or pre-mixed spirits per person, per day. There were also many weird and wonderful costumes and accessories as fans showed their racing allegiances and national pride - or just zany personalities. The main Bathurst 1000 event will begin at 11.10am on Sunday with Jamie Whincup clinching pole position.

A dance teacher and his partner took an unfortunate tumble while dancing during a wedding reception. The embarrassing moment took place during the teacher's entrance at his brother's wedding reception. As the video starts off, several men and women are seen gathered in a semi-circle while the dancing duo (top left) prepares to make their grand entrance. The audience begins to clap as the pair make their way onto the dance floor quick-stepping from left to right. But the next move became a bit tricky for the energetic duo. The dance teacher (top right) grabbed his partner's hand and twirled her around. The teacher (bottom left) then appeared to have lost his balance as he dipped his partner causing them to fall. And unfortunately the twirl landed them on the floor (bottom right).

Fans of body art have flocked from all over the world to get inkings from some of the country's leading artists at the third annual two-day Israel Tattoo Convention in Tel Aviv.
