Ryan Giggs has hit back at claims he had a poor interview with Swansea by claiming: 'They did not meet my ambition.'
Giggs was a contender for the job at the Liberty Stadium after they sacked Francesco Guidolin on Monday.
The Welshman is keen to secure a management role after leaving Manchester United as assistant boss in the summer following a 24-year career at Old Trafford.

The south Wales club unveiled American Bob Bradley as Guidolin's replacement on Friday
But Swansea appointed American Bob Bradley instead, saying that Giggs had an 'underwhelming interview' for the post, despite wanting to bring with him a backroom team which included former United team-mate Nicky Butt.
However Giggs, speaking during ITV punditry duties on Saturday, hit back at the those claims he failed to impress by saying.
'I met with them [Swansea] a couple of times but in the end there was just mixed messages from the football side and the ownership side of the club. I just felt their ambitions did not really match mine.'
Giggs was the assistant boss at Old Trafford for a couple of years and interim manager in 2014
The Welshman was United's interim manager for four games in 2014, which was not enough to convince Swansea to hand him responsibility for saving the club from relegation.
Bayern Munich assistant manager Paul Clement, previously Derby manager, was also interviewed for the post, as was former Villarreal boss Marcelino.
Swansea are just one place above the relegation zone, with just four points from seven games so far this season.
