She's famed for her no-nonsense attitude and acid tongue.

So it's perhaps not surprising that Megan McKenna's former flame Scotty T has voiced his sympathy for the TOWIE star's ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks, who is in the dog house after it emerged he had been sexting his ex Jacqui Ryland behind her back.

Scotty and Megan enjoyed a short-lived romance in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in January, but their passion fizzled out once in the outside world.

The Geordie Shore star told MTV: 'At the end of the day, [Pete] shouldn't have been doing it.

'Pete must be devastated. I mean, I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of her, man.

'I remember once on Big Brother she said to me, "If you ever do anything wrong I'll cut your d*** off".'

Megan's fiery temper has been well documented during her reality show stints on Ex On The Beach, CBB and these days TOWIE, with the likes of Chloe Lewis and her gal pals Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows experiencing the full force of her wrath.

Short but sweet: Megan and Scotty's whirlwind romance was cut short when the brunette was evicted, while the Newcastle lad went on to win the series 

Last week, Megan hit back by deleting all traces of love rat Pete on social media.

The 24-year-old star cleansed her Instagram account of their regular loved-up displays, which recently boasted a raunchy fully nude bathroom shot.

While the picture sharing platform was regularly lined with further sizzling selfies of the two, as well as a number of scantily clad holiday snaps, all images of her estranged beau no longer remained.

The only remnant of Pete was a recent picture of his heavily inked arm alongside the brunette beauty's where they donned similar gold watches.

Other than that, Megan's Instagram is now solely dedicated to herself with her documenting her time filming for the ITVBe series in Marbella, before arriving back home last Monday.

Cuddling her pet pooch back in Essex, the outspoken reality star's demeanour proved to be a far cry from when she was pictured in an explosive confrontation with Pete last week after news of his apparent disloyalty came to light.

Since being sent home early from filming in Marbella, Pete has kept a low profile and on Monday he appeared tense as he prepared to see Megan for the first time since the argument.   

The 27-year-old was spotted showing up for filming for TOWIE on Monday - appearing anxious as he built up the courage to come face-to-face with his heartbroken love. 

Preparing for the nerve wrecking meeting, Pete worked his trademark edgy style in a pair of heavily ripped dark denims which hinted at his endless intricate inkings.

It was reported by The Sun Online last week that the tattooed hunk had sent highly explicit messages to Jacqui during his time in Marbella - before admitting he couldn't wait to be home from the 'boring' trip with his girlfriend.

According to the paper, many of the texts between Pete and Jacqui were too explicit to print.

However one message reportedly saw Pete admitting to the mother-of-three that he 'can't wait to get home' and that it is not just Jacqui who misses their previous relationship.

It is also claimed that he found his girlfriend's lack of drinking boring, and even hinted at a split to Jacqui - implying to her that no one knows what the future holds, when she vented her frustration about him not being single.

Pete and Jacqui embarked on a two-month long fling last year after meeting on Twitter.

Since the news arose, Megan has since posted a heart-wrenching video on Snapchat in which she revealed the situation was 'f***ing hurtful and heartbreaking', while Jacqui headed on a sexy night out following the news. 

After the duo were pictured in the throes of a dramatic row, the state of relationship was called into question yet Megan's candid Snapchat rant has clarified the intricacies of their troubles without specifying the stage they are at now.

She said: 'You know what I’m going to actually tell you guys on here what happened.

'I actually found some messages on Pete’s phone a few weeks ago and they weren’t good but I thought I’d give him another chance, as I feel like everyone deserves a second chance.

'The way that he was speaking to me was that he was really sorry and didn’t mean it. Obviously it’s not right that he was messaging other girls but he told me it was just innocent flirting.'

While she convincingly explained her early knowledge, the stunning star appeared bereft over the story unearthed by The Sun: 'I did know about some messages that were going about and obviously that’s hurt a lot. 

'That a boy that I thought loved me and I loved could be with me and doing that at the same time.'
