More wacky laws in America

As Louisiana proposes a new law that will see fines issued to anyone caught exposing skin or 'intimate clothing' below the trousers, we look at other weird and wacky laws in America.

  • Pennsylvania: Sleeping on top of a fridge outdoors

  • California: Animals mating publicly within 1,500ft of a bar, school or place of worship

  • Ohio: Women wearing patent leather shoes in public

  • Texas: Taking more than three sips of beer while standing

  • Virginia: Hunting animals on Sundays - except raccoons

  • Massachusetts: Goatee beards unless you pay a fee

  • Oklahoma: Groups of three dogs or more must be licensed
