'He never takes his fame or success for granted': Felicity Jones claims she admires co-star Tom Hanks' work ethic and disinterest in the A-list lifestyle

She's been nominated for an Academy Award and has spent the last few years working on several high-profile Hollywood movies.

But Felicity Jones has remained grounded throughout the whirlwind experience - a trait which she fiercely admires in other A-list actors.  

The 32-year-old said she was particularly impressed by her Inferno co-star Tom Hanks, and spoke to Sunday Life about his down-to-earth attitude.

'Tom is always absolutely focused and there's no messing around on set - his priority is making the best film possible,' she told the magazine. 

'He's also incredibly down to earth. He never takes any of his fame or success for granted,' she added.

Felicity's interest in film is more than just a pursuit of fame - which explains her admiration for true industry veterans like Tom.

In fact, her older brother is a film editor and Felicity dreams of directing her own film.

She also also revealed the production process is something that 'fascinates' her.

When she was cast in Chalet Girl, Felicity learned snowboard. For her part in Rogue One, she took martial arts lessons to perform in her Kung fu scenes.

And for her latest project Inferno, the rising star learned six 'totally useless' phrases in Italian.

'Maybe at parties they'll be useful to bring out,' she joked.

'I could do some Kung fu while speaking Italian, then if it's snowing I'll leave on my snowboard.'
