Coral will be the next
major bookmaker to agree a deal with Turf TV,
sources are predicting.
Confirmation that totesport,
which has 545 shops, are the first of the
big bookies to sign up to the company, which
plans to supply betting shop pictures from over
half British courses, is expected today.
Unlike Hills and Ladbrokes, Coral do not have a stake in Turf TV’s rival SIS, which has enjoyed a monopoly position.
Currently, pictures from some major tracks
are not being shown in shops as bookies refuse
to pay £6,500 annually for Turf TV, a price they
say is too much.
