Posh takes Brooklyn to Kenya to show him how the other half live: Victoria Beckham, 41, and her 17-year-old son join forces for UNAIDS charity mission

She's usually seen in exclusive locations and glamorous parties.

But Victoria Beckham swapped her lavish lifestyle for the real world when she visited central Kenya on Saturday.

The 41 year-old designer was joined by her teenage son, Brooklyn, 17, as they continued their UNAIDS charity mission in Africa.

Keeping it simple for the occasion, the former Spice Girl wore a crisp white shirt which she matched with a pair of stonewash skinny jeans.

Ditching her usual heels, she added a pair of black flip-flops to the mix.

Clearly not wanting to be inappropriate, she also toned down the heavy make-up for a slightly more understated finish.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn was every inch the typical teenager in a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a UN T-shirt in bright yellow.

Rolling the sleeves up for some hipster cool, he added his trademark black Adidas cap and baseball shoes.

Embracing his philanthropic side, he was all smiles for the camera.

Brooklyn posted a photo on Instagram of him holding a newborn baby that had been named after him.

They then spent the day in Kisumu, in the east of Kenya, which has one of the highest HIV rates in the country, where she met with children and parents living with HIV.

Local media showed the Beckhams were entertained by traditional dancers from the Luo tribe, and Victoria had a dance along with one of her hosts.
