We haven't signed up our Gal-Andrezly yet, says Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate


Middlesbrough have yet to make a decision on whether to sign Slovakian teenage trialist Peter Gal-Andrezly.

Slovak side MFK Kosice claim Boro have agreed to sign the Under 19 international on a six-month loan deal in January.

But Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate insists he has not decided on the midfielder's Boro future yet.

He said: 'It’s something that we’re currently looking at. I think some of the reports are a bit premature. He’s somebody we’re having a look at and once we feel ready to take anything further we’ll let everybody know.'

But Kosice sporting and technical director Stefan Tarkovic said: 'Both clubs have agreed on a half-year loan, which is going to start in January. We are very happy that the trial has been successful and that he will be allowed to develop his indisputable talent in a high-quality club.

'This case also shows that working with young players has a purpose at MFK Kosice and that it is a big motivation for all our young talented players.'
