Talking about killing two birds with one stone.

Sarah Jessica Parker did just that last night, so to speak, as she attended two different New York events in the same outfit.

After attending the NYC premiere of her movie New Year's Eve in the full length print dress - the 46-year-old actress then rolled up to a Valentino party in the same frock.

With her passion for fashion and seasoned experience in working the celebrity circuit - it came as something of a surprise.

SJP was pictured arriving to the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum Launch party at the IAC Headquarters- hot from her turn on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre - fluffing her long hair before jostling into position for another spin in front of the cameras.

No doubt her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw from Sex And The City - a huge shopping enthusiast - might have had a few words to say about Parker recycling her clothes.

Mother-of-three SJP was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick for her two engagements of the evening.

He was dressed in a dapper suit - which he also recycled - as he supported his wife and posed for photographs with her.

Other attendees at the Valentino event included the designer himself, along with actress Claire Danes and stylist to the star Rachel Zoe.

Courtney Love was another attendee, opting for a black cocktail-style dress while socialite Daphne Guinness donned a grey dress, with a structured overlay and huge platforms.

Earlier in the evening, Parker posed with her New Year's Eve co-stars, including her on-screen daughter Abigail Breslin, Jessica Biel and Michelle Pfeiffer.
