At the ages of 18 and 19 respectively, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are not quite old enough to visit bars in Canada and the U.S,

But with the legal age in Australia being 18 and over, the teenage couple were free to enjoy the nightlife Down Under over the weekend.

The pair were spotted visiting trendy St Kilda bar Hotel Barkly on Saturday night.

Beforehand, the duo and Justin's entourage went for dinner at the popular Stokehouse restaurant on the St Kilda waterfront.

For the outing, the couple both dressed warmly for the chilly Melbourne conditions.

Selena was toasty in a grey knitted jumper worn under a denim vest, while Justin wore his leather Letterman jacket over a hoodie and a white T-shirt.

The teenager star also wore a pair of black sunglasses throughout the evening.

And it is no wonder why.

Justin has been continuously mobbed by thousands of Australian fans since he arrived there last week.

Over the weekend the pop star was bombarded by Beliebers as he arrived at Fox FM in Melbourne to record two songs for Australia's Got Talent.

Justin looked relaxed - if a little jetlagged - as he arrived at the studio.

The teen was stylish as ever in baggy black leather trousers, a pale grey jumper and silver chain.

He accessorised with a silver chain and dark glasses, and sipped an iced coffee drink for some much-needed caffeine.

Girls flooded to the Langham Hotel in Southbank to try to see the pop idol after an unconfirmed tweet that he was staying there, but found themselves disappointed.

Others were delighted when the teen pop idol emerged from The Olsen Hotel, and the keenest appear to be tracking the star wherever he goes.

TV appearances and interviews have been strictly limited- though he is confirmed to appear on Australia's Got Talent, Sunrise and Channel [V].

All questions are reportedly to be cleared in advance by Justin's handlers, and radio and TV presenters have been warned off the subjects of Justin's girlfriend Selena Gomez and his recent alleged assault on a paparazzi.

Bieber recently hung up on a radio interviewer who made a joke at his expense relating to One Direction.
