NORWICH v Sunderland: Bunn expected to retain goalkeeper's jersey for visit of Black Cats
|
A thigh injury to John Ruddy means Mark Bunn will start in goal again for Norwich in their Barclays Premier League game against Sunderland on Sunday.
Ruddy was ruled out for three months after suffering the injury against Everton and Bunn will start his second game in a row, with young stopper Declan Rudd expected to provide backup from the bench.
Staying put: Mark Bunn was previously at Blackburn
Defender Russell Martin could make his first appearance in over a month after he overcame a back problem, but centre-half Michael Turner (shoulder) and striker Harry Kane (metatarsal) are out.
Provisional squad: Bunn, Whittaker, Garrido, R Bennett, Bassong, Tettey, Martin, Johnson, Hoolahan, Morison, Pilkington, Snodgrass, Jackson, Holt, Barnett, E Bennett, Tierney, Howson, Rudd.
