She couldn't be further from Lisbeth now! Rooney Mara is seen giggling and dancing around in artistic new Calvin Klein advert

She found fame playing the fiercely individual Lisbeth Salander in the American film adaption of Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
And Rooney Mara is continuing to inhabit strong, independent characters.
But the 28-year-old actress' latest role is very different as she plays a confident young woman finding her place in the world in a new commercial for Calvin Klein's fragrance Downtown.

Independent woman: Rooney Mara plays a woman who 'lives by her own rules' in the new Calvin Klein commercial for fragrance Downtown
The ad was directed by David Fincher, who also worked with Rooney on The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
The black-and-white video appears to follow a day or two in the life of a model or actress, or perhaps Rooney herself.
The star is seen engaging in a variety of everyday activities intermingled with glamorous photo shoots and press events.
Starting her day: The video opens with Rooney grabbing a coffee before she heads out
Savouring the moment: The brunette is seen inhaling the coffee aroma before adding sugar to the hot beverage
On her own: Rooney is seen listening to music as she prepares to board a subway train in New York City
The video - set to the song Runaway by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs - opens with Rooney pouring sugar into her coffee.
She is then seen walking next to a New York City subway wearing a black leather jacket while listening to music.
The camera then cuts to Rooney lying down as someone applies makeup to her face before she jumps up and down in an ethereal dress during a photo shoot next to what looks like the Brooklyn Bridge.
Touched up: The star is then shown having her makeup done for a photo shoot
On location: Rooney continues to listen to her music while having her makeup touched up before a photo shoot
Breathtaking backdrop: Rooney jumps up and down wearing an ethereal dress next to what looks like the Brooklyn Bridge
Scenes then flash by of her sleeping, dancing with children on the street and standing in the rain during another photo shoot.
Rooney then dons a slinky black dress as she sits onstage during a press conference while photographers and journalists go wild over her.
The video ends with a lingering shot of Rooney sitting in the backseat of a car looking wistfully out the window as she watches the nighttime city scenes pass her by.
Heading home: Rooney is shown back on the subway heading home after her photo shoot, listening to her music once again
Catching some sleep: The beauty is shown fast asleep on her couch with a book lying open in front of her
Working again: Rooney is seen the following day dancing with some children during another photo shoot
Same thing, different day: She is seen having her makeup touched-up in between takes
Reveling in it: Rooney is seen enjoying the rain as everyone on set runs for cover
Pure joy: She smiles in wonder as the rain pours down, her arms and mouth open to feel the water
'DOWNTOWN Calvin Klein is a fragrance for women that live by their own rules,' explained Catherine Walsh, Senior Vice President, at Coty Prestige.
'This campaign captures a woman with an original "downtown" mindset - she leads a lifestyle that is authentic and defies expectations.
'We were thrilled to work with Rooney Mara for this campaign; her individuality and formidable talent resonate with the incredible legacy of women who have been captured in Calvin Klein advertising over the years.'
Lost in thought: Rooney looks wistful as she is chauffeured to a press conference that evening
Pure elegance: Rooney shows off her slender figure in a slinky black dress as she makes her way into the building
Isn't he cute? The actress is side-tracked by an adorable puppy that she can't help doting over
In command: Rooney is seen sitting onstage as journalists vied for her attention
The world is her oyster: Rooney is shown looking down at the audience, countless microphones before her
Self-satisfaction: Rooney is shown with a small smile and a twinkle in her eye as she answers questions
Rooney will next star as an NGO worker named Olivia in the film Trash.
The film, based on a 2010 novel, is about three impoverished boys who go on the run after a mysterious discovery in a city garbage dump.
The movie is set for release in May 2014.
Contemplation: The video ends with Rooney staring out her open window as the city scenes pass her by
