The 30th Breeders’ Cup meeting takes place on Friday and Saturday evening at the historic Santa Anita track in California.

Last year British raiders drew a  blank at the meeting billed as racing’s world championships with the two European wins – George Washington and Flotilla - being delivered by Ireland’s Aidan O’Brien and France’s Mikel Delzangles.

O’Brien has sent over his usual big team, which includes Queen Anne and International Stakes winner Declaration of War trying to give him a first win in the $5million Classic run on Dirt.

John Gosden’s The Fugue, who represents owner Lord Lloyd-Webber in the Turf, and Sir Michael Stoute’s Dank in the Filly & Mare, look Britain’s best shots.
