Sarah Palin slams MSNBC for liberal hypocrisy as she accepts Martin Bashir's apology for suggesting someone 'defecate in her mouth'

Conservative political figure Sarah Palin criticized MSNBC and the 'media elite' for failing to take action after suffering insults from MSNBC host Martin Bashir which suggested that someone should defecate in her mouth.

Featured as a guest on Chris Wallace's 'Fox News Sunday,' Palin noted that MSNBC, which has yet to discipline Bashir, took Alec Baldwin's talk show program 'Up Late with Alec Baldwin' off the air for two weeks after he allegedly made homophobic remarks.

'That's the executive hypocrisy that is so prevalent in that media elite bubble, where it depends on the target of the vile rants. It doesn't depend on what their rant itself actually is and conservative women are a target of them,' she said.

Palin also said that she would protect those who were 'defenseless' from media attacks.

'If Mr Bashir or anybody else in this media elite bubble that they put themselves in were to attack someone who is defenseless, like a vulnerable child, who does not have that podium, that microphone that God has blessed me to be able to express my opinion … well, if you want to see a mama grizzly get riled up and slap that person down, then you come after a vulnerable child.'

Palin also said that the next time someone attempts to attack her they should be ready to deal with her family first.

'Next time that they want to say such a thing and then get the attention that they were seeking after they've said it, and then they want to call and apologize to me in private, I'd like them to go through, say, Todd first or one of my children first. Leave the message with them. Hear what they have to say about it and then they can come to me.'

Bashir's comments were part of a November 15 monologue that criticized Palin's comparison of the US public debt to slavery. In it, he described several punishments slave owner Thomas Thistlewood enforced, including having his slaves defecate and urinate into the mouths of one another.

'When Mrs Palin invokes slavery, she doesn't just prove her rank ignorance. She confirms if anyone is truly qualified for a dose of Thomas Thistlewood, she would be the outstanding candidate,' he said.

During her interview with Wallace, Palin explained her decision to accept Bashir's apology. 'Who am I not to accept an apology?' she said.

'Everybody in life takes shots. You have a decision to make when you take a shot. Are you going to become bitter or better? In a case like this, I don't have to accept his words, his vile, evil comments. So they don't have to affect me. I move on. And I charge forth,' she said.

Bashir apologized on air on Friday, saying 'My words were wholly unacceptable. They were neither accurate, nor fair. They were unworthy of anyone who would claim to have an interest in politics.'

Have you guys noticed that American leftwingers are so unintelligent and generally incoherent that they actually had to import Fabian Socialists from the UK to do the talking for them?

Hey Trepink, Typical Texas. Nuke Diver, people have said a lot worse probably. How can you blast me for not being verbally responsible when the likes of good old Sarah and Michelle Bachman say all kinds of irresponsible stuff.

So if she's still talking does that mean someone hasn't defecated in her mouth yet? Because I'd like to get in line if that's the case. And I had Mexican last night.

Don't forget you fool, it was the Reps who cost us 29 billion dollars throwing a hissy when they didn't get their own way and shut down the government. Someone should defecate in your mouth too.
