Clarifications and corrections

In a MailOnline article of 26 August 2013 our headline incorrectly stated that ‘E-cigarettes are as harmful as cigarettes and could cause cancer, claims study’. We are happy to make it clear that a study referenced in the article says that e-cigarettes contain chemicals that make some of them as harmful as normal tobacco. The headline has since been amended to reflect the correction.
