It was truly a case of sisters reunited when Petra and Tamara Ecclestone got together in LA to celebrate Petra's 25th birthday on Thursday.

Blonde model and fashion designer Petra looked in superfit post-baby form as she strutted her sexy stuff in a pair of thigh-high boots teamed with a short blue and black panel dress.

Designer handbag at the ready, Petra was fully on trend with her large gold hoop earrings that set off her gorgeous mane of hair perfectly.

Meanwhile, pregnant Tamara opted for a pair of skintight leather trousers and a loose dark blue top to flatter her ever-growing baby bump.

Leggy lovelies! Both Petra and Tamara were keen to display plenty of one of the family's best assets - their gorgeous legs

Petra has been married to entrepreneur James Stunt since August 2011, when they got hitched at Odescalchi Castle near Rome, at an event attended by royals, socialites and celebrities.

The wedding reportedly cost £12 million and Petra's bride's dress by Vera Wang dress reportedly cost around £80,000.

Earlier this year in February she gave birth to their first child, daughter Lavinia Stunt.

Tamara has called sister Petra 'an amazing person and mother' on Twitter

Surprisingly Petra appears to have been too busy of late to post anything on her Twitter account. Her last post was on May 12, over six months ago, when she posed 'I love you mom'.

That came four days after a perhaps telling post from Petra that read 'I'm here, in lost, I'm alone...Save me please.'

29-year-old Tamara, however, hasn't let her pregnancy interfere with her constant tweeting. For Petra's birthday she tweeted: 'Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister so happy to be spending it with you. So proud of what an amazing person and mother you are. Love you.'

A few hours later she tweeted 'Getting glam with Petra for her birthday dinner tonight #sister reunited', later posting a Polaroid photo of the two of them, writing 'Petra's birthday - love Polaroid pics.

Although a little hazy and small, the photo does show the Ecclestone sisters all dressed up for the occasion with Tamara in black and Petra opting for a monochramatic black and white jacket and both looking as leggy as ever.

While in LA to visit sister Petra, Tamara has also been having a great time catching up on movies, having been to see the hot new 70s disco movie American Hustle, as well as visiting Disneyland ('excited' is what she posted when she went on Wednesday) and having dinner at The Ivy.

There have also been trips to Malibu and lunch in the sun at Nobu after a spot of LA beach watching.

The trip to LA comes after Tamara and partner Jay hit New York for their first time there together where Tamara also managed to get in a lot of her Christmas shopping.

The LA visit gives Tamara the opportunity to once again bond with Petra’s daughter Lavinia, and pick up as many parenting tips as she can ahead of her own birth in the new year.
