Glee vet Chord Overstreet channels Brad Pitt from the '90s as he releases new country song Homeland

Chord Overstreet used to have short hair when he starred with Lea Michele on Glee.

Now the 27-year-old actor has grown his hair to look like a Nineties grunge version of Brad Pitt circa Legends Of The Fall.

The video is shot in his home state of Tennessee and we see the country side with its lush landscape.

Mountain tops, country homes and trees make the clip visually exciting.

'Being able to film my first music video at the home that I grew up in was very special,' Chord told Billboard.

The former boyfriend of Emma Roberts sings about missing home.

The lyrics start, 'It's where I keep my heart, Where I plan my routes, Where my soul comes from, Where I learn to sing the blues, Raised on the saving grace, I live in love, My secret hiding place, When the world's too much.

The chorus comes in with, 'Let the new shine fade, Let the lights burn out, Let the time slip away, And bury me in that ground, When I'm all used up, And I'm old and grey, When the well runs dry, And my mind just ain't the same, Won't you set me free, Where the tall pine stays, Where I was born to be, Back in my homeland.'

Soulful: The chorus comes in with, 'Let the new shine fade, Let the lights burn out, Let the time slip away, And bury me in that ground'
