You can check out the match reports from tonight's big games below but for now, it's goodbye. Thanks to everyone who followed the action with us.
ITALY MATCH REPORT: Lazio striker Ciro Immobile secured a dramatic three points for Italy in Macedonia as his brace helped the Azzurri come from behind to win in Skopje.
The visitors took the lead in the first half after Torino forward Andrea Belotti guided home a corner for his first international goal, but they sat on their lead before Ilija Nestorovski and Ferham Hasani struck in quick succession to give the hosts the advantage.
They couldn't hold on, though, as Immobile's neat finish levelled matters before he headed home the winner in stoppage time.
SPAIN MATCH REPORT: Spain rose to the top of World Cup qualifying Group G following a comfortable 2-0 victory over former leaders Albania at the Loro-Borici stadium.
The visitors predictably dominated proceedings and only a couple of excellent saves from Albania keeper Etrit Berisha, denying Thiago Alcantara and Vitolo, prevented them from taking a first-half lead.
Chelsea striker Diego Costa eventually broke Albania's resistance after the interval before Manchester City's Nolito came on to double their lead and take Julen Lopetegui's side top of their group after three games.
CRAIG HOPE IN MOLDOVA: James McClean's second-half double handed the Republic of Ireland a deserved 3-1 victory over Moldova to put Martin O'Neill's side joint top of their World Cup qualifying group.
Shane Long didn't have to break his stride to score Ireland's first of the evening, latching on to Wes Hoolahan's pinpoint through-ball to slot home his first goal in 18 matches for club and country.
Moldova grew in confidence and equalised through Igor Bugaev on the stroke of half time - but McClean secured all three points for the visitors with two side-footed finishes seven minutes apart.
Here are the full time scores from across Europe in this evening's World Cup qualifiers:
Moldova 1-3 Republic of Ireland
Serbia 3-2 Austria
Macedonia 2-3 Italy
Iceland 2-0 Turkey
Albania 0-2 Spain
FULL TIME: Moldova 1-3 Republic of Ireland.
A brief moment of worry for the Republic this evening, but they've come out on top thanks to James McClean's second half brace.
An interesting end to the game too, with a bit of a scuffle near the touchline. Jon Walters at the centre of things, looking like he was claiming he'd been bitten.
89mins: GOAL ITALY - Ciro Immobile
Italy have a late winner, Immobile with a goal in the last minute!
Looks like they've saved their bacon late on and will win this one 3-2!
88mins: Italy think they have a late winner... but it's ruled out by a late, late offside flag!
85mins: Five minutes left in Moldova, and Republic of Ireland passing the ball around trying to keep possession to try and see this one out.
They earn a free-kick which McClean is eyeing up, Hoolahan replaced by Eunan O'Kane for the last rites of this one.
McClean strikes the wall with his free-kick.
82mins: Into the last 10 minutes across Europe.
Plenty still to play for, not least in Macedonia where Italy are still being held 2-2.
81mins: In Serbia, the hosts are now back 3-2 ahead against Austria.
Southampton's Dusan Tadic with what looks like being their winner.
75mins: GOAL REPUBLIC OF IRELAND - JAMES MCCLEAN
Much, much better from Republic of Ireland.
Seamus Coleman, who has been so dangerous as an attacking force all night, gets to the byline and pulls a cross back for McClean to easily slot home from close range.
The men in green now lead 3-1.
72mins: As the Republic of Ireland avoid embarrassment, it looks like Italy have too.
They've drawn level at 2-2 with Macedonia after dramatically falling behind.
Ciro Immobile the man with their equaliser.
69mins: GOAL REPUBLIC OF IRELAND - JAMES MCCLEAN
Martin O'Neill's men are back ahead, and what a relief that is for the men in green.
The ball was played into the box, Jon Walters controlled it before McClean took over.
He slotted a cool finish into the bottom corner to put his team back ahead.
Now, can they go on to get a third goal in the last 20 minutes?
65mins: Panic over, if you're a Spain fan.
They're now 2-0 up on Albania, Manchester City forward Nolito adding their second goal.
Elsewhere, it's now Serbia 2-2 Austria.
62mins: Shane Long has hobbled off for the Republic, leaving Callum O'Dowda to come on in his place.
That means a bit of a reshuffle, with O'Dowda moving to the left, McClean to the right and Jon Walters down the middle.
61mins: Republic of Ireland still level at 1-1... and it looks like they're about to lose Shane Long now too.
The Southampton man looks like he's got a hamstring problem.
58mins: It's been a dramatic turnaround in Macedonia... and now the home side lead Italy 2-1.
Nestorovski and Hasani with their goals to leave the European heavyweights stunned!
55mins: A huge moment for Spain out in Albania.
After a frustrating first period, Chelsea striker Diego Costa scores to open the scoring.
52mins: Frustrating start to the second half for the Republic of Ireland.
Not much happening for them in attack, another 10 to 15 minutes of this and you can imagine the tension will really build.
Walters then creates their best chance since the break, crossing in for Long to head in on goal but it's saved.
46mins: First chance of the second half goes to Moldova, a shot from distance failing to trouble Randolph too much.
KICK-OFF: The second half begins out in Moldova, with the Republic of Ireland needing to score again to return back home to Dublin with the three points.
Here are the half-time scores from across Europe:
Moldova 1-1 Republic of Ireland
Serbia 2-1 Austria
Macedonia 0-1 Italy
Iceland 2-0 Turkey
Albania 0-0 Spain
HALF TIME: MOLDOVA 1-1 REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
45mins - GOAL MOLDOVA: Igor Bugaiov
It's a funny old game.
Just minutes after writing Randolph has had nothing to do, he's picking the ball out of his net.
The men in green push up and are caught on the break as Bugaiov strikes.
45mins: Republic of Ireland win a free-kick on the edge of the box as Walters is fouled.
McClean steps up, but his effort is poor and goes way over the bar.
Two minutes of added time.
43mins: In the Republic goal, Darren Randolph has been totally redundant.
One Moldovan corner gives him a brief moment of worry, but the ball runs all the way across the goal and away to safety.
At the other end, Hoolahan and Long link up again but just fail to add a second goal.
Looks like we'll go into the break with the game at 1-0.
38mins: In Albania, Spain have failed to make the breakthrough, so far at least.
The game remains scoreless at the moment approaching half time.
36mins: Ticking towards the break out in Moldova.
Republic of Ireland dominant really, but Martin O'Neill will want a second goal before the break.
As I type, Shane Long goes down under a clash of heads with defender Posmac.
30mins: Glenn Whelan has been the latest Republic of Ireland figure to go close in Moldova.
The Stoke man has fired a shot wide of the near post when finding himself in an unusual attacking position.
Still 1-0 to the visitors, with Shane Long the main danger.
28mins: Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has had an excellent start for Serbia against Austria.
His second goal of the day has put them back ahead 2-1.
25mins: We've got a goal in Macedonia, and unsurprisingly it's Italy who lead.
Andrea Belotti of Torino is the man who has found the back of the net.
23mins: Seamus Coleman is looking dangerous again.
Hoolahan finds him again with an exquisite ball, but the Everton man is only stopped by the offside flag.
He probably shouldn't be caught there, in fairness...
20mins: We've got an equaliser in Serbia.
Fresh from their 2-2 draw with Wales, Austria are now level.
Marcel Sabitzer is their scorer.
17mins: Republic of Ireland looking very dangerous in wide areas so far in this one, Seamus Coleman getting loads of room down the right.
The Everton man cut inside, delivered to Long who saw his header blocked.
Still 1-0 to the men in green.
14mins: Elsewhere in the same group containing the Republic and Wales, Serbia lead Austria 1-0.
Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored their goal, the powerful forward taking just six minutes to open the scoring.
12mins: Looks like there are plenty of goals to be had for the Republic of Ireland here.
They've started much the better here, already lead 1-0, and look like adding to their score very quickly.
James McClean has been the latest man to go close, firing an effort wide.
CRAIG HOPE IN MOLDOVA: Well that didn't take long for Shane Long to break that 18-game scoring duck we'd all been talking about before the game.
Huge goal for Ireland, easing any nerves they might have had.
That's them top of Group D by two points as it stands...
5mins: Martin O'Neill couldn't have wished for a better couple of minutes.
His team have started well here, passing the ball nicely in a small stadium. The pitch, nonetheless, looks decent for passing football as Hoolahan showed in his assist for the opening goal.
Unlike Wales earlier, their task now is to not get complacent.
2mins: GOAL REPUBLIC OF IRELAND - SHANE LONG.
Well, what a start!
Wes Hoolahan, given the chance to start, makes an immediate impression by picking the ball up and sliding an inch-perfect pass through to Long.
The Southampton man does the rest, opening up his body and firing home into the far corner.
Martin O'Neill's men lead 1-0 inside two minutes.
1mins - CRAIG HOPE IN MOLDOVA: Wales' draw at home to Georgia really has given the Irish a chance to take advantage here tonight.
There is a feeling that Thursday's 1-0 win over Georgia was, on reflection, a fine result. But they need to get the job done here in Chisinau.
And we're underway...
Time for the anthems...
Teams in the tunnel out in Moldova, Seamus Coleman as captain at the head of the Republic of Ireland's line.
We're five minutes or so away from the action...
So Ireland go in search of three points tonight, but as Wales showed earlier on today, there aren't many easy games in international football.
Can Martin O'Neill's men build on that 1-0 win over Georgia?
We'll find out quite soon with kick-off coming up...
Italy XI vs Macedonia: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Romagnoli, Candreva, Bernadeschi, Verratti, Bonaventura, De Sciglio, Belotti, Immobile.
Macedonia XI vs Italy: Bogatinov,Ristovski, Mojsov, Shikov, Ristevski, Zhuta, Hasani, Ibraimi, Alioski, Pandev, Nestorovski.
