Former Loose Women star Jane McDonald calls police escort after crazed stalker HAND DELIVERS death threat

Jane McDonald was left petrified after a crazed fan hand delivered a death threat to a venue she was performing in.

The former Loose Women star was reportedly escorted from her show in Watford by police after reporting the frightening letter.

The 53-year-old singer is said to have since cancelled all upcoming meet and greets with fans.

The incident is said to have happened during her performance at Watford Colosseum last Saturday.

After delivering the threatening note, the man in question reportedly identified himself before being thrown out of the venue.

However he continued to phone the Colosseum, but when police arrived they were unable to locate him.

A source told The Mirror: 'Jane was absolutely terrified, it was a really scary situation to be in.

'After the man was removed by security, he continued to call the theatre but when police turned up they weren't able to find him.'

In a statement, officers explained: 'Police were called to reports of a man acting suspiciously outside the Watford Colosseum at 8.38pm on Saturday, October 1.

'Officers attended but the man had already left. A search was carried out of the area but the man was not located. 

Jane's representatives declined to comment on the reports.

Jane- who has a singing and writing career under her belt, rose to fame on 1998 BBC show The Cruise, before appearing on a number of daytime shows including Loose Women.
