Magnus is almost nine months old and I've been breastfeeding the whole time,' Sharny said.

Teenager Alex Hayes (inset) claims to have captured extraordinary footage (pictured and inset) of him wake surfing with a dolphin off the coast of Sydney. The astonishing footage shows the surfer using a GoPro to film himself riding waves when the dolphin emerges below him. The video appears to show the animal following Mr Hayes along as he trails his friends in a boat, but the footage has not been verified and the teenager has a history of faking similar feats.

Australian television presenter Karl Stefanovic was recently spotted for the first time following news of his split with wife Cassandra Thorburn. The 42-year-old Today Show presenter was seen outside his Sydney home, looking rather downcast while sporting casual attire. Cassandra was also seen looking far from impressed, watching Karl as he walked out the home gate.

A stroke patient died after a hospital refused to give him a life-saving operation because he arrived 45 minutes after business hours. Nick Taousanis (pictured with his wife) was admitted to Wollongong Hospital after suffering a stroke on August 13 at his Shellharbour home in the Illawarra region of NSW. The 81-year-old (pictured with his son in inset) was deemed a candidate to undergo an endovascular clot retrieval but Prince of Wales Hospital administrators would not allow the surgery to go ahead because the support team had finished their shift.

Mahendra Ahirwar, 13, was born with a rare condition that made his neck muscles so weak that his head hung at a 180-degree angle. Mahendra's life was a nightmare as he was restricted to sitting and couldn't stand or work. He needed help with eating and going to the toilet. His mother told MailOnline she could no longer bear to see him suffering. But Mahendra's life was transformed after a mother of two living 4,000 miles away in the UK read of his plight and launched a crowd funding page to raise £12,000 for surgery to straighten his neck. The boy's father Mukesh said: 'He looks great. His neck is straight. His life is so very different.'

A 23-year-old Queensland woman has revealed how she was stranded on a remote beach waiting for help for more than two hours, after she slipped and became impaled on a piece of driftwood (inset). Kristina Austerberry (left) was camping in a remote location north of Bundaberg with her boyfriend. She decided to move a boat anchor while he was away, and she slipped on the sand and became impaled on a piece of wood. She waited for more than two hours for help, unable to move, before a helicopter found her. The young woman underwent surgery was treated for third degree sunburn (right) sustained while she waited for help.

The CCTV footage of accused 'Cookie Monster' ecstasy dealer Damian Berg's (right with girlfriend Marvie Torreon) arrest that led to his acquittal in the Philippines has emerged, showed police storm his room guns drawn (left) and haul him away. He was paraded in front of the media (inset) and thrown into a crowded jail for three months with the threat of execution during the country's bloody war on drugs.

Massoumeh Ebtekar, Iran's controversial vice president, was at a meeting of environmental officials in Berlin, Germany to discuss an 'action plan' on water, air and biodiversity. After talks with a suited German politician with short hair, many in Iran assumed Ebtekar had broken rules for observant Muslim women by shaking a male stranger's hand. But it was soon pointed out that Ebtekar, who once boasted she would be happy to kill US hostages, had actually met with female German Environment Minister Barbara Hendricks. This shocking video shows a Chinese man hobbling towards medical attention after a turtle chomped down on his penis and refused to let go. In footage likely to make most men wince, the Chinese softshell turtle is seen with its teeth clamped around the groin area of the man's trousers. The unlucky man is seen using red rope that is tied around the reptile's shell to lift it up so he can walk more comfortably. But, as one might imagine, the gentleman seems to be in some discomfort and has to stop every few steps to readjust his clothes.

Aside from a barbed wire fence and a CCTV camera, a 'Beware Of The Dog' sign can be seen as a legitimate security step. But these hilarious photos  show that the supposedly terrifying canines intended to scare off potential burglars may not be so dangerous. From two adorable fluffy Pomeranians (top centre) to a tiny puppy (right) and even a moose, the reality - and wonderful irony - of what lurks behind the threatening sign has been revealed.

Designer Pierre Delavie used a canvas almost 13,000 square foot in size to create an optical illusion on Paris' Conciergerie building, located on the Ile de la Cite overlooking the Seine. Describing it as an 'urban lie' intended to confuse viewers, Mr Delavie created it for the annual Nuit Blanche festival  - an all-night celebration of art and culture which took place earlier this month - using a giant image on the canvas to give the illusion of the facade being upside down.

Collated by the National Cancer Institute, the images were taken at a number of cancer centres across the US. A range of fluorescent light micrographs, 3D transparent tumour tomography images and optical tissue clearing images were used in the collection. One scan shows cancerous cells lining the placenta (top left) and the intricate detail of a polyploid giant cancer cell in the breast (top middle), which is made up of different proteins. Bone cancer spreading to affect healthy tissue (top right) and a tumour which has grew so large it has exceeded the blood vessels ability to provide oxygen (bottom right) - a state known as hypoxia - can also be seen. Further images show breast cancer cells resisting treatment (bottom middle) and the proteins that allow cervical cancer to spread (bottom left).

A sweet video shows a black and white cat grooming a canary which sits contently, showing no fear of ending up as the feline's lunch. It chirps merrily as the cat licks its feathers and even drawing it in for a cuddle. A second video shows the cat surrounded by four birds which it draws in for a snuggle. It is unknown where the footage as filmed.
