That's what you call body art! Amazing UV pictures painted onto naked women celebrate the female form using images of sunsets, tropical oceans and mountains lit by moonlight
John Poppleton, from California, creates mindblowing works of art painted directly onto human skin using fluorescent shades. His project, called Under Black Light, consists of 'bodyscapes' of spectacular natural phenomena such as African sunsets, tropical oceans during rainstorm, and mountain ranges under moonlight. In more otherworldly, eerie designs the artist depicts cosmic scenes of stars, galaxies and shimmering auroras. ...read

Artist, 24, creates stunning sculptures using beaches as her blank canvas just one month after picking up a rake for first time
Chloe Dickey drew a huge floral design on a Port Macquarie beach on Saturday in under two hours. The 24-year-old from Lake Cathie, NSW, works in the wet sand at low tide meaning her drawings don't stick around for long when the waves roll in.
Feline arty! Artist loves her pet cat so much she's added it to works by Botticelli, Dali and even the Mona Lisa
A bizarre but strangely wonderful concept of classic paintings and fine art work 'improved' by a fat ginger cat, Fat Cat Art is rapidly growing its online fan base. The pieces are the work of Russian artist Svetlana Petrova who features her own cat Zarathustra in every picture.
Crumbs! Is that a Banksy? Artist trades her palette for a plate to create captivating culinary pop art

Be Here Now (Big Brother)
High on their own undoubted importance, Oasis delivered a bloated parting shot to Britpop with 1997s Be Here Now. Its songs were too long, with too many uninspired guitar solos, and this deluxe re-issue reiterates its position as the bands first misstep. Despite that, the bonus material has its appeal: forgotten B-side Stay Young is one of Liam Gallaghers finest moments; DYou Know What I Mean? is cleverly remixed by Noel.

Oh My My (Interscope)
Having made his name as the go-to-guy for female singers aiming to conquer the charts, from Adele to Taylor Swift, OneRepublics Ryan Tedder keeps his best songs to himself here. His Denver quintet can veer too close to skilful pastiche (Ed Sheeran on Lets Hurt Tonight; Coldplay on Future Looks Good), but there are glimmers of real inspiration on the Peter Gabriel collaboration A.I. and power ballad Choke.
★★★
Head Carrier (Play It Again Sam)
The key US rock band of the late Eighties, Boston quintet Pixies unwittingly set the template for the subsequent grunge movement with their second album Surfer Rosa. Head Carrier sticks to a tried and trusted approach and, on All I Think About Now, even recycles a Surfer Rosa riff. The sparkle of original bassist Kim Deal is missed, although her replacement Paz Lenchantin does add dreamy, soprano harmonies. They can do better.
★★
22, A Million (Jagjaguwar)
Justin Vernon (aka Bon Iver) dispenses with any conventional song titles or structures on an album that reverses his recent move towards the mainstream. The Wisconsin singer is a friend of Kanye West they played together at Glastonbury and the rappers influence is evident in his electronically enhanced falsetto vocals. Adele hailed Vernons last album as the soundtrack to my heart. She may not feel the same about this one, but it is still beguiling.

Following My Intuition (Insanity)
Craig Davids unlikely return marks 2016s most astonishing resurgence. A teenage star when his first album sold eight million, he was turned into a national joke after being mercilessly lampooned on the Bo Selecta! TV series. But heady comeback single When The Bassline Drops put him back in the charts, and he offers a familiar mix of pop, R&B; and two-step garage beats here. One track, 16, even references his 2000 single Fill Me In.
★★★
Home (Mount Silver)
Wallis Birds powerful voice veers from a whisper to a frenzied scream, and the Irish singer-songwriter uses it to dazzling effect on an album of raw, confessional love songs on which she also plays most of the instruments. The stripped-back title track is sung a capella, but a move from Dublin to Berlin has furnished her with a more European perspective, with the jazz-rock of her early records giving way to pulsing electronics on Odom.
