So that's how she keeps those curves! Christina Hendricks poses with a big box of chocolates

With curves like hers, it has always been clear that Christina Hendricks is not one of those stars who survives on a few lettuce leaves.

And as the smiling actress posed at an event yesterday, her fans got a hint of what she might like to eat.

With a big box of chocolates clutched in her hands, the Mad Men star looked little short of delighted.

The actress made a promotional appearance last night at the opening of the Godiva Pop-Up boutique in New York.

Christina showed her stunning figure off in a knee-length sleeveless black dress.

And her carefully styled red hair, red lipstick and porcelain complexion completed the star's classic Hollywood siren look.

Christina's much-admired curves have come in handy more than once.

The actress had a scare earlier this month when she lost a $850k bracelet on the red carpet for the Golden Globe awards.

She was relieved to discover it had been found by an event worker but once she'd returned at her table, she found she couldn't get it back on due to a tricky clasp.

So the curvy star hid the bracelet in her ample cleavage until she got a chance to hand it to her publicist for safe keeping.

Viewers eager to watch Christina in the fifth season of Mad Men will have to wait a while after speculation as to when exactly the hit show will return to TV.

Creator Matthew Weiner has admitted that he does not know when it might be back.

Speaking to U.S. magazine Entertainment Weekly, the writer admitted that no deal had yet been reached between AMC, which screens the show, and production company Lionsgate for a fifth series.

'I am not looking for a new job,' Weiner said. 'I am dying to go back to work - but right now, there's no work to do.

'I have every intention of making the show when AMC work out their business with Lionsgate,' he added, 'I can't wait to come back to work.

'I have said over and over in public that I want the show to go on and on and on until it has worn out its welcome with viewers and we can't think of anything more for the characters to do.

'But the truth is I don't even know what their plans are. We have not started writing. I am not back at work,' he told the magazine.

'It would be heartbreaking for me if they don't work it out, horrifying really. It would be a shame for fans to never get to see what great stuff we have planned for Don and company.'
